About this listen
From USA Today best-selling Author Nikki Ash comes a stand-alone romance about two single parents who find love where they least expect it.
Hudson: Since I lost my wife, my life has consisted of being a single dad to two crazy kids and playing professional football, leaving me with no room for anything or anyone else.
Until the moment I met Sawyer.
Something about her feels right, and I know it’s more than just chemistry. She’s a game changer. My second chance at love.
I want all of her days, her nights, and everything in between. But our time together is limited, and come Saturday, she’s going to leave, taking my heart right along with her.
Sawyer: I wasn’t looking for love, but that didn’t stop it from finding me. All it took was six days to fall head over heels for a complete stranger and his adorable children. Nothing has ever felt so right.
But as a single mom, it’s not just about what I want. We live more than a thousand miles apart, and I know all too well that long-distance love always ends in heartache. Hudson’s everything I’ve ever wanted in a man, and I know it would be easy to create a life with him and our kids.
Which is why it’s going to be so hard to say good-bye....

Sawyer and Hudson!
Sawyer is a single mother who is a celebratory trip as she transitions from college to her job as a teacher. While there she meets Hudson, and the sparks fly as they and their children spend time together. When the vacation ends they aren’t ready to end their relationship however that means trying to balance their lives and the fact that they don’t live in the same place.
After the passing of his wife Hudson has been focused on football and his family. Sawyer is the first person to make him feel since then and he knows that what they share is too special to walk away from and now they just need to find a way to become the family they all want to be.
Sawyer and Hudson share an emotional and physical connection that is undeniable as they fight to turn their vacation fling into forever. The performance of the narrators brought out all of the feels of this heartwarming story. 🎧 Pink Flamingo Productions

A Delightful Romance! Fabulous Story & Listen🎧
This is a delightful romance novel that not only captured my attention throughout but also tugged at my heartstrings. I adored the lead characters, Sawyer Addison and Hudson Matthews, the secondary characters are equally wonderful. Sawyer, a single mom, is vacationing on Hilton Head Island before she starts her new teaching job. She met Hudson while in the resort’s bar and the two hit it off. She had not known who he was, a well-known quarterback for a professional football team, and he liked that she had not known. The two met up again, this time thanks to their kids who were at camp together. His son Lucas came to her daughter Abby’s rescue. Abby and his daughter, Presley, were the same age and became instant friends. Sawyer and Hudson spent as much time together as they could, and their feelings deepened, and it turned into so much more than a vacation fling. Except she was going back to Tennessee, and he was going back to New York to train for the new season. Can a long distance relationship work? Is it even possible with his job and fame? And then there are the kids to think about. I loved how everything played out in this book, the writing, plotting and world building is fantastic, as is the character growth and development. The story is low on angst and will leave you smiling; it has the perfect balance of drama, heartwarming charm, heartfelt emotions and a sweet romance. Nikki Ash, thank you for another wonderful story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧And for the wonderful narration, Lexi Evans and Michael Gallagher did an amazing job of bringing the characters to life. They had a complete understanding of who they were portraying, giving each a voice that was fitting and believable. Gallagher played Hudson with perfection, the swoon-worthy single dad. Evan aced it as Sawyer, grasping all sides of her personality. Both were just as fabulous performing the roles of secondary characters, too. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling them all. These versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fantastic listen.

True love hits when you least expect it!
Get ready to be romanced off your feet! Nikki Ash gives us a wonderful, age-gap, single parent romance that warms the heart! Meet Hudson and Sawyer. Both not looking for love, but unable to stay away from each other. After a night of love, the two meet up again in the most unlikely of places. Camp. With their kids. Yes, both single parents the two spend the rest of their vacation together, enjoying life. But Sawyer sees no future here. He is a famous football player and she has no intention of ever being involved with a famous person again. Hudson sees her as his second chance at love. Plus they live miles apart! How could it ever work? This second chance at love is all the things that fill you up. Ash has packed in adorable children who are impossible not to love, and man who is desperate to start his new life. Will he get the chance? Loved this quick and easy listen and am sure you will too!
Lexi Evans and Michael Gallagher pulled me into my escape with this one. I love both of their voices and together they make the perfect casting for this story. Evans is the sensuous yet cautious Sawyer. Mom first, she has the tone, but with Hudson, it's pure love. Gallagher has the smooth as silk sound to pull Sawyer in and hook the poor woman! From his grief to his future, Gallagher creates the man with a realistic feel. I enjoyed this listen and recommend it to all who love a good love story.

Single Parent Vacation Romance
What Love Looks Like by Nikki Ash is a single parent vacation romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Lexi Evans and Michael Gallagher.
I absolutely love Nikki's books! She always gives me all the feels with each of her books. I loved the relationship that bloomed between Hudson and Sawyer. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
Michael and Lexi did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you like contemporary romances, single parent romances, or vacation romances.

Sweet story
A sweet, low angst story which tells the tale of two charming souls and three delightful children who all meet while on holiday. There is instant attraction between Sawyer and Hudson, one which they act upon once it is established that they have a connection and their children form a wonderful friendship. I have enjoyed this quick, easy listen. It is so optimistic and hopeful that love will out. Both narrators, Lexi Evans and Michael Gallagher, have warm, expressive voices which are very pleasant to listen to. 💖💖💖💖
