About this listen
First there was the Voice of Reason, but now there is the Voice of Rage.
Harley Mason, you may love her or hate her, but never underestimate her. As the Masons settle down to a more normal life following the death of three family members, a shocking discovery of a schoolgirl found dead in nearby woods starts the finger pointing once again. Lewis Sanders, the detective on the case, struggles to believe that a teenage girl is capable of such a horrific crime. Yet the discovery of a second body could put Harley Mason in the frame. Is the evidence staring at him in the face, or is there more to it? Proving a link between the Gemini Gene and higher functioning psychopaths had been Dr Katherine Renee’s sole purpose until she had to discontinue the study. Now, she questions her own sanity. So, desperate to convince the police that Harley is the killer, is Dr Renee harbouring a dark secret of her own?

Even better than the first book
Even more twists and turns than the first book. The characters are further developed and the storyline follows on then races away. Great narration.

What a story
Amazing. Honestly I haven't had a book keep me on the edge of my seat like this for a long time. Great series. This book is as good if not better than the first.

Had me hooked from the first book
Any book that’s narrated by Annie is amazing, I finished these 2 books in 3 days. I absolutely love all Kerry Barnes books, you seriously can’t go wrong with this author.

Brilliant just brilliant
Not what I was expecting but a refreshing change!
Hope there’s a third & it’s a mix of a phycological thriller & the criminal underworld that would be a very intriguing read/listen

Gripping follow on from book one….
Wow… I thought this second book would just be a dragged out follow up but it surprised me with many different turns and had me gripped as much as the first book did….. If I only recommend one set of books this year it would be these two by this brilliant author

Equality as good as Book 1
I could not stop listening to this book.
I am a new fan of Kerry Barnes (always been a fan of Annie Aldington and that is why I started listening to Kerry's Books because of the narrator),
What a fantastic 2nd book.
I am not going to mention what happens, but a must read. I would give this 10 stars if I could.

Love Annie
This was ok but wasn’t gripped like the others. Story line was good and clever but a bit boring
