Brilliant
I love the Kerry Barnes books and they are always brought alive by Annie’s narration. This is one of the best I’ve read of hers. Loved it

Strong female character in Harper
Great story but so unrealistic and far fetched, as everything was perfect timing, and Harper just happened to bump into the right people at the right time. Spoilt the story for me. Annie Aldington was brilliant as always!

Loved it keep you listening!!
Rarely do I venture out of true crime but after reading this I will have to re think that. Yes sure some incidents are pretty far fetched but it complimented the narrative. Having been bought up and lived in Bellingham all the places are very familiar. Already bought the next 2 books in the series.

loved this book,and the narrator was absolutely spot on!! 2nd book iv read by narrated by this lady and she is excellent!! Couldn't stop listening,good all round 5 stars x

Brilliant
Wow what a great listen, every opportunity I had I listened to this . A really good story and the narrator was spot on , changing into each different character . Harper Kane leaves prison and gets caught up with the under world of criminals and the fight to protect her family. Well worth a listen .This is the 1st in 3 books in the life of Harper , the next is Taboo which I am half way through and is just as good
