Summary

Being faced with an uncertain future is nothing new for Ari, not when you lived each day under the control of a demonic cult. But now Ari lives with a new enemy and one she can no longer run from...her past. But soon she will discover that even her past can cling to their future and hold it captive in the form of a curse.

So, with a murderer lurking in the shadows of their past and an Angel on the hunt, a killer is not the only thing out there for Vincent to find. For many lives are at stake, but only one of those has the power to break an immortal curse, and now Ari must decide: will she run from it and chance giving up her future, or will she run straight into the arms of a cursed...Angel King?

Cliffhanger Alert

Love these books but wouldn’t have bought this one if I’d known it has a cliffhanger ending and no follow up book released yet!

Fast paced story by Stephanie but no end!!!

I enjoyed this book having read all the Afterlife and Transfusion books but I was disappointed to be left hanging on a cliff edge again!! For me it's a shame Stephanie doesn't complete a series of books before moving onto another new book as I love the way she writes and the characters - I just don't want to have to wait years between books. Vincent is a strong character who deserves his own series of books and this book starts to do just that but then just stops!!!! Sorry Stephanie but I couldn't recommend this book just yet unless you are a very slow reader or don't mind waiting years for a follow up which this book definitely needs.

Good apart from terrible accents

The accents are really awful, it does ruin it a bit. They said either get a male American to do the voice or just carry on reading in normal voice
