About this listen
In a month, I've gone from magicless to one of the most powerful dark mages in the world. You'd think that would make my life easier.
But all that power is only potential until I learn how to wield it, and my enemies have a huge head start. While I'm picking up every skill I can, adversaries both within Villain Academy and beyond it are working to knock me down.
My fellow scions? I can count at least a couple of them among those enemies. The others...let's just say the lines between light and dark have gotten a lot more blurred.
Nothing's safe here - not my mind, my heart, my magic, or the few people who're proving themselves my allies. When the danger turns deadly, will I be able to save all of them and myself?
Rory’s battle to survive Villain Academy has only just begun. Vicious treachery, unexpected allies, thrilling passion, and wrenching heartbreak await in Vile Sorcery....
*Vile Sorcery is the second book in a university-age paranormal academy series. Expect magical villainy, a tough heroine who bends to no one’s will, a dollop of steam, and a slow-burn enemies-to-lovers reverse harem romance where there'll be no choosing required.*

Captivating
I am loving this series so far it is captivating. This story is full of twists as Rory finds out more about her blood parents and her place in the Fearmancers world. The slowly developing relationships between Rory and the boys is so brilliantly written it is spellbinding. The narration is great I like that there is a male and female narrator for that extra dimension.

Can’t wait for more
I received a free audio copy of this book directly from the author for an honest review.
Omg I am so enjoying this series, it’s a slow burn so it makes it much better to watch the characters growing especially when you get little snippets of the guys POV’s. Rory is such a strong fiery character yet relatable. The world building just keeps getting better and better and the plot is very twisted and intriguing. I can’t wait for more!

Keeps getting better
This story continues on where the last one left off and the story just keeps getting better. Rory is getting stronger. She is slowly figuring out who she can trust . The guys still suck. Just when you think one of them may have turned the corner. BAM! Their jerkiness shows itself again. Chase is such a good writer. You feel for Rory and you want her to put these guys in their place and just unleash all her powerful magic on them. I wonder just how any of them can redeem themselves. I guess I will just have to read on to see how perfectly Eva pulls this off.

A magic audio story
Wow Wow book 2 is just as hear wrapping as book 1. What can I say. The words are not enough to do it justice. Eva Chase wrote a story that will wrap you into the story . Eva characters are strong. The heroine, Rory , is strong , her resolve is unshakable, no matter what Malcom and his other Scions ( who Rory ) is suppose to be part off throws at her , Rory rises above the attacks , stands her ground, she does fight back but very mild . The four scions but mostly Malcom wants to Rory to bow down to them . Rory does have a mild connection to 2 of them . Rory professor gets sick once he wants to tell her something who wants to do her harm
Grab it and find out who .
Stephen Dexter and Meg Sylvan are a great team . Stephen doing different tones for all the male characters were great . Even 2 or 3 voices in the same scene were great . Meg doing Rory , Debrah and all the females were spot on

Compulsive
Eva Chase hooked me in again! I love that it's slow burn and that Rory doesn't just take the easy path because it's easy, and that when POV is switched I NEVER guess who it's going to switch to right. I love that all of the guys are warming up to her independently of one another and that it isn't mentioned between any of them until right at the very end. She is stepping into her power literally and figuratively and it is an absolute joy.
I still thouroughly love both of the narrators, and I have this book in e as well as audio

secrets, cruel magic and a strong female lead
Great second book in this magical pnr series, I'm really enjoying it. The two narrators on the audio were very good and easy to listen to.
The plot thickens....... although we learnt a few things especially in that twist at the end, there are still secrets galore and a sinister plan to bring Rory to heel. I love how strong and determined Rory is, despite all the cruel obstacles being thrown at her. She has morals that don't align with fearmancer protocol, she's kind and caring but is learning fast. I'm happy to see a few more layers to the scions being revealed, especially Declan and Jude. There wasn't too much from Connor, but he's finally growing a pair! Malcolm was still a big a-hole. I really don't like him at the moment, he's stubborn, mean and blinkered. I just hope he shows some redeemable qualities in the next book. There wasn't very much in the way of romance but bonds are slowly forming and I'm looking forward to what comes next, even if I have no idea how things are going to pan out!
