Summary
Ylva is about to take a practical lesson in death.
The world is at war and that means extra work for any Afterlife Assistants. Navigating through an army of dead souls is hard enough, but if she wants to save the dusk wolves, Ylva has no choice. On top of that, she still has conflicting feelings about her roommate, not to mention a rivalry with an old enemy.
Becoming a Valkyrie just became a whole lot harder. Does Ylva really have what it takes?
Valkyrie 102 is Book two in the Afterlife Academy Series, a lesbian Urban Fantasy dystopian.

Exciting and absorbing series
Another fantastic book from Arizona Tape that I just couldn't put down, the story continues from book one with the FMC Ylva facing even greater trials, rivalry and confusing feelings for her room mate. I'm hooked on this series and can't wait to find out whats next for Ylva and her friends.

It did not disappoint
Arizona Tape has done it again. Valkyrie 102 is brilliant and Aleksi Graves is so perfect for the book as a narrator. The chapters kept coming and everyone kept you on the edge wanting to know what was going to happen. Without giving the storyline away, you need to listen to Valkryie 101 to fully understand what is happening but the story throughout keeps the listener engaged. Aleski narrated the first book in the series and I was impressed with her range of characters in that book, she does not disappoint in this book. I tend to listen to audiobooks while planning work for my drama clubs and this book consistently interrupted my thought patterns in a good way. I found that I just wanted to listen to the book rather than get on with anything else I was doing. A well written and well-narrated story.

Academies are for more than academics.
I’m so invested in this series!!! I need more, more, more!
This is a continuous story so you need to read book one first. Ylva’s character is really coming to life now or should I say to death. She’s beginning to find her feet at the academy with the hope of gaining a dusk wolf pup and in with the popular crowd. Unfortunately fate has a different root in mind.
This was a gripping adventure and I loved every minute. Ylva’s friendships are beginning to grow and when she experiences death her flight/fight response really shines through. There are a lot of twists in this book and it had me hooked all the way through.
Audiobook. * I received an arc in exchange for an honest review.
