Insightful and Incredibly Helpful
I downloaded this audiobook to better understand a friend’s daughter. I met them on cruise vacation, and I was incredibly impressed by her. I thought this audiobook would give me a deeper understanding. The insights into how she experiences the world and why certain situations can be overwhelming really helped me see life from her perspective. Even the concepts of life skills, such has how much toothpaste to use, was enlightening to realize the challenges that these kids overcome to gain their independence. I feel much more confident in being a supportive presence in her life. I recommend this for anyone wanting to understand and empathize better with friends and loved ones.
