About this listen
The newest electrifying thriller in the best-selling Jack Ryan series.
A US Navy commander is attacked by an unidentified Russian man while having dinner with his wife.
A CIA operative travelling on a Canadian passport is intercepted and interrogated at Tehran Airport.
A team of FBI officers are arrested by Indonesian police for travelling under fake passports in Jakarta.
These apparently unrelated incidents point to a compromise in US government security, and Jack Ryan and his team must find out where it is coming from. From Maryland to Macedonia, they frantically battle shadowy forces who are looking to drag the US president into a ground war with ISIS.

Story
Entertaining US propaganda, well read.
What can I say?
If you can ignore the blatant banner waving, and there is a whole lot of that, then you'll enjoy the ride.

True Faith & Allegiance remains with this author
Would you listen to Tom Clancy's True Faith and Allegiance again? Why?
Another great book in the Jack Ryan Junior series. The author manages to take a possible, if unlikely, occurence, and weave it into a novel that draws the reader in. A little overkill in one area, easily put down to artistic licence, but otherwise a great read.
What did you like best about this story?
The introduction of a couple of new characters into The Campus, who continue to do what is right, rather than strictly within the letter of the law.
Which character – as performed by Scott Brick – was your favourite?
Great to see a strong female lead developing, in one of the new recruits!

Great book
Only recently discovered these atom Clancy books and I love them. Listened to a few of them now. I’ll be honest, it took a lot of getting used to this narrator (Scott brick) as he sounds so different to the previous narrator. I find the tone Scott brick uses is rather soft and mysterious for a military story. I think the narrator should be more military in tone but he does do a good job of taking on different voices for different characters and accents and I have now gotten used to him. It certainly didn’t waste my experience of this book and I’m sure he’d be perfect for a mystery/drama type book.

Great story, not such great narration.
Would you consider the audio edition of Tom Clancy's True Faith and Allegiance to be better than the print version?
I enjoyed this a lot. It's the first Techo-thriller that I've listened to on Audible, although this style is my preferred read for an actual book, and was worried that a 19 hour book of this style would be hard work, but actually it was a very easy listen.
It is a bit too cliched for me though. ISIS terror threats and the USA wins again. Surely there is another storyline that someone that come up with? Back Jack Ryan is a good character, so I still enjoyed it.
I do wonder sometimes how the narrator is chosen for books though. This narrator is really hard to listen too with some very weird intonation.
What three words best describe Scott Brick’s voice?
Very weird intonation.

a Campus/ Jack Ryan Junior story
IS run riot on US soil. A breach in security has allowed millions bit of personal data to be leaked. Government employees start to die.
I enjoyed the book and narration .
