One of the better permaculture books I have read/listened to.
Good steers on companion planting but beware that, as many are, this is based mainly on American planting although there is enough content for us English to get the drift.

Really excited about my garden!
I’m now really excited about my garden! What a fantastic way to think about everything, we so often box things up into packages both metaphorically and physically but we really should be thinking about the bigger picture, the ecosystem! Love this book, and highly recommend

Get your garden back to the way nature intended
I think that everyone enjoys a garden, whether it has just flowers, vegetables or even a combination. I know that I do. I have been studying back to nature guides for over 50 years and this is the first concise book I have seen that breaks it down into information that is easy to understand and implement. It makes sense to grow things as nature intended. This book will be even more valuable now and in the future as food costs keep rising and more and more people start growing to supplement the weekly shop. The fact that when you do the gardening, you know what goes into the plants and can control the number of chemicals used, unlike commercial farming, is an added bonus. Get "organic" vegetables without the "organic label" costs!

Practical and Informative!
Listening to the audiobook makes me see how wasteful we are as humans. It gives insight into how consumerism is eating the planet, how lots of food is wasted annually and provides how we can use the resources and make the most of what we have with what nature provides and enjoy fresh food to feel healthy and purposefully make a difference. The audiobook is a guide to help those that need help as the author shares knowledge and passion from permaculture on how to use rainwater and integrate animals in a simple practical way for all.
