Implausible story
My first book by this author, and I enjoyed the first 3/4 of it. I felt it was well written and I like the twists and turns which kept me listening. I was expecting to give this review 4 or 5 stars but it all went a bit silly. The motives for the murder(s) were weak and implausible and I felt, increasingly, as we reached the finale, that the book just got sillier and sillier. I would try another book by Valerie Keogh hoping for a more believable one.

Compelling story
Another great novel from Valerie with an interesting cast of characters, all very much out for themselves. An entertaining story. Strong narration. Highly recommended.

Didn’t expect the ending
Very confusing at times as to who was who..
The narrator’s voice impersonating men’s voices awfully bad.
However the story line was good kept me guessing until the end. I didn’t expect the ending big surprise!

Who is the most monstrous out of all them?
Being a monster is a term used regularly in this book so the plot is really about who is the most monstrous, Natasha, Daniel or the wives? Well narrated, pacy plot and a couple of twists at the end.

My 1st listen from this Author
Grabbed me from the beginning to the end. Great story line and characters and did not see the end coming! I could picture all the characters in my head and each had their own personality, which also gives credit to the narrator for matching the voice to their personalities. The ending of a book can sometimes disappoint and will determine whether or not I give 5 stars.. This did not disappoint at all, in fact, I would rate more if I could. I will look for this author again.
