Best book for healing from anxious thoughts

This book gives some wonderful guidance and strategies for dealing with anxiety. I use the strategies everyday to combat intrusive thoughts and it has helped no end. Thank you Sheryl Paul.

Holistic book

Listening to this free holistic book on audible. Sheryl Paul talks about being connected to your emotions and being mindful of your surroundings. She talks about tonglen buddhism practices.

Great audio book.

Enjoyed this book so much. Chery has the most beautuful voice, and for me made listening to this book, soothing.. I love how the author uses examples from her own life, and normalizes so much, the fear and worry that come from intrusive thoughts, that we all get them to one degree or another. I particularly found tbe journalling tips at the end of the book helpful.

Not sure of it's my kind of book, a bit woo woo for me. But, there are some helpful exercises and advice provided.

Amazing insight into anxiety and how to relieve it

I have just finished it, learned so much from it, now I’m going to start over from the beginning to hear the bits I may have missed. I will recommend to anyone looking for deeper answers.

A gift of wisdom

I really loved this book. It is full of deep insights into the psyche. There are many exercises to complete which help with integration. It is written in a beautifully poetic way. I also loved the narration.

Really useful book

If you suffer from anxiety, this book is really beneficial. It is very soothing to listen to and contains a lot of really good insights into managing anxiety. Recommended.

An absolute must

Please take it from me. I've read (and listened) to almost all there is on addictions, trauma, depression, healing, dissociation and so on. Each of those books have helped me.

This book is special because in some thoughtful and calm way, she brings everything together, without preaching to, or scaring you.

I totally recommend this and hope you get as much reassurance as I did from this. Peace to all on this earth
