Summary
This book is for you or for the person you know with piles upon piles of books and mail that take up their living room and plague their lives. This is for the people who feel like they are suffocating under the mess and clutter and feel like they have to burn down their houses to properly start over. This book is also for those who feel like they are throwing parts of themselves away when they think about giving away or throwing away their stuff. It's for the people who struggle to get rid of a thing because they feel obligated to honor their possessions. This book is for people who live in a mess, but don't know where to start or how to fix it.
Mess and clutter are symptoms of consumerism, which harms not just you, but the planet, too. Through the ideology of minimalism and a heck of a lot of information on cleaning, sorting, and organizing, the people who pick up this book can find some solace and solutions to their issues. You'll be getting more information about decluttering and cleaning than you'll ever need, but you'll also discover why it's so easy to develop these bad habits in the first place, and how we've ingrained those harmful habits into our society for generations.
Break the cycle and learn how to declutter your home - not just for now, but for good. Not just for yourself, but for your children too.

Decluttering must have!
Decluttering can be an overwhelming task and it's hard to get started on the right track! This book outlines how to make a plan and stick to it to achieve your goals. Looking around my home, I have kept things that are no longer used or needed but I've struggled to get rid of. This book has given me the push I needed to break the clutter cycle. Would recommend.

An extremely important topic in today's world
I have actually studied this topic before and even written about it, so I am always interested in learning more. Tracy Garfield does a great job of helping you through an increasingly difficult task: Letting go. Downsizing your life and eliminating unnecessary items is a need shared across all demographics. Everyone, from impoverished hoarders to lavish wealth accumulators, have the same urge to find and claim treasures which far too often have only sentimental or aesthetic value, rather than being anything practical to our lives. This can lead to a huge variety of problems, from debt to mental disorder. Reclaiming our lives from our things (and our NEED for things) is something we all need to face to live a meaningful and practical life. A great read with beautiful narration.

A declutter monster of a listen
I am really into this topic, so I am always interested in learning more.
Through the increasingly difficult task of letting go, Tracy helps you immensely. It is a universal need for everyone to downsize their lives and eliminate unnecessary items.
Whether you are a hoarder or a lavish accumulator of wealth, you have the innate desire to collect treasures that aren't practical but instead serve as sentimental or aesthetic values.
Debt and mental illness can be the results of this problem. To live a meaningful and practical life, we all need to let go of our things.
The narration of this book is superb.
Decluttering must-have, according to my brain! My heart agrees too.
My clutter cycle has been broken since I read this book. It comes recommended from the heart this one!

Informative and Easy to Follow!
The audiobook is informative and will be ideal for people who are messy and disorganised as there are a lot of people who struggle to keep the house clean and healthy and do things the right way, the easy way is not always the right way but the book guides on how to declutter and be organised.
It teaches and informs on how to keep my space clean which is helpful.
