Summary

This story contains violence, sexually explicit scenes, and adult language and may be considered offensive to some listeners.

From the Badlands to the Bluegrass, this perilous, potentially deadly adventure changes the lives of everyone involved and puts at risk the survival of the Clan and all the Celtic brooches. While dressing for a dinner date with her cousin George Williams and James Cullen Fraser, Ensley Williams picks through her jewelry box for some bling to add to her outfit and chooses her late mother’s sunstone brooch. Engraved on the inside of the stone is an inscription. When she recites the Celtic words, she’s engulfed in a peat-scented fog and transported back to the Dakota Badlands in 1885 where she meets Teddy Roosevelt at his Elkhorn Ranch.

When James Cullen discovers Ensley has disappeared, he decides not to tell his family that he’s going back to rescue her, which is the worst decision he’s ever made. After finding TR at his ranch, Ensley’s not in a hurry to return to the future. She grew up on a North Dakota ranch near the Theodore Roosevelt National Park, and this is a dream come true. She wants to go on a roundup with TR, while JC wants to go to MacKlenna Farm and “borrow” some gold from Braham McCabe’s secret cache.

JC makes the second-worst decision of his life and leaves Ensley in Roosevelt’s hands. While Ensley struggles with bad weather, bad food, stampedes, and wild animals, JC goes up against an evil force that plunges him into a crucible of terror and agony that could bring down the entire MacKlenna Clan.

Another fantastic book

I really enjoyed this book. I particularly liked that there was a male and female narrator...although he couldn't hold a tune like the character was supposed to! The storyline didn't disappoint and I can't wait for the next one!

Most epic adventure in the series this time tavel

Most epic adventure in the series this time there's three different stories in one in one book. look forward as soon as possible next book series to come through. this episode of the series in the sunset broke is revealed a lot of Secrets and Surprises concerning Eric Viking how tall is the Cliffhanger and and as was other mission mysteries that resolve from the beginning the book. I do suggest to be pet before you read the book to start the beginning of the book series even do you ready have in the past might miss some references and probably prepared that you might want to be hashtag after you finish with sunset brooch read listen again well waiting for the next who booked in the series.

Absolutely brilliant

Loved every second of it and of all this series. I have listened to all the other books twice and some of them three times and will definitely listen to them all again when the next one comes out. I can't get enough of them they're absolutely brilliant. Can't wait for the next one. Please write faster.
The narrators were both brilliant accept for the kids voices. But I prefer it when there are both Male and female narrators.
I definitely recommend this book and the whole series.

The Best

I have read all the Brooch Books years ago and loved the seies. I decided to choose this book to listen to because I think the story is one of the best,. I would also include the World War 2 Story. I love the way the auther asks questions of the future President and the way she answered questions in a historical way with historical accuracy where possible and great writing where none available. I have enjoyed reliving this book by listening to it.
