Such a great resource!

504s and IEPs can be so confusing, even for professionals who work with them. I am an OT and can truly appreciate this book as it provides the "need to know" information that a parent can equip themselves with to help advocate for your child's needs. There is no better advocate than you, so having an understanding of the process is an absolute must. I always tell my patients and their families, knowledge is power... and this book does just that for parents who have children with 504s and/or IEPs.

504 & IEP Made Easy

Wow, what a guide! Growing up with dyslexia was difficult. My parents didn't have the resources that are out here today. My husband had some speech challenges as well. He's an engineer and I am a copywriter now!

This amazing guide is now my handbook for my two children who are currently in EI for their cognitive and phyisical challenges. I feel well equipped to prepare them for a future of positivity and support using the tools I learned in this book!

I highly recommend this book! It takes alllllllll the stars!

Empowering Advocacy for Your Child

This book was so helpful! As someone with many friends with children who need IEPs, that process can be nebulous and frustrating. Many parents feel like they have to trust the school system. As the parent, you have the best interest and the context for the child’s needs and desires.

This book was incredibly helpful, informative, and instructive on advocating for your child confidently without worrying about being a helicopter parent. I will be recommending this to many friends of mine. Such an important book for parents with children with specific school needs.

This book gives you an overview of how the law works with IEPs, how to navigate meetings with the school about your child, and more!

Great information in this book

I didn't even know so much available by the government programs. Yes, schooling preparation is massively important. When your child is fully healthy, you have to plan too. Specially in the circumstances when your child has disabilities. Not all disabilities are supported by the government program education. However it's important to know exactly what are you entitled to. I think the author have done incredible job on explaining in details where it starts, where to go, what to search. Many references are there, you don't have to go any further. I believe this book will help many parents around the world to open up their children potential. It is miracle when your child with disabilities have such progress, can you imagine what healthy child capable of. Highly recommended
