Good Lord, Holmes !

I enjoyed these scripts as they carefully walked the tightrope between parody and pastiche. I kept waiting for the adverts for Petri Wine that interspersed the Rathbone/Bruce radio plays. The reading out of the stage directions took a while to get used to, but I was soon able to ignore this. I would have preferred two actors playing Holmes and Watson (and all the other parts) but this is a very slight criticism. For Sherlockians who don't take their Holmes too serious.

fantastic

a fantastic audio book from the pen of Ian Shimwell and narrated by Kevin Theis.

The book is a great tribute to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle however the narration was a bit off putting with Lestrade sounding Australian and some of the Scottish accents being terrible too xxxxxx
