Pepper and Jace!
If you thought that Jace and Pepper had a lot to overcome while they were in high school hold on as college has even more in store for them. Not only are they trying to balance school as well as their athletic responsibilities but there is no shortage of drama, angst and turmoil to overcome.
I really enjoyed the evolution of both these characters as they persevered to conquer their pasts as well as all the challenges in the present so that they can have the future they both deserve. The depth of the performance of the narrator made the characters relatable and had you invested in their story. 🎧 Audiobook Obsession🎧

YA Romance
The Pepper Jones series is a YA contemporary romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Stacey Glemboski.
This is the first series of Ali's that I have read, and I look forward to reading more of her books in the future. The first box set (book 1-3) covered Pepper and Jace's relationship in high school. While this box set (book 4-6) covers their relationship in college and after college. I really enjoyed that this box set we got Jace's point of view as well.
They both struggled in college and had to take the time to learn who they were as people without the other around. I was glad they become stronger with each struggle they had to face.
Stacey did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of her work in the future.
I would recommend this series if you like YA romances, contemporary romances, sports romances, friends-to-lovers romances, or slow burn romances.

Pepper & Jace HEA
3.75 stars
I should start the review mentioning that I haven’t read the first 3 books. Maybe if I had the score could have been higher as I’d be more invested in the series. But that’s my lesson learned… Always enjoy a series from the first book.
I’ve been listening to Ali Dean’s books for a while and have fallen in love with her writing style and the characters she writes. With this box set I felt that too much was happening in the life of a young women under 20 years old… there’s only so much drama a person can have in her entire life. I was so not a fan of Jace in Pep Talks but Pepper is a much better person than me and I’m glad she stayed true to herself and held on. In Pepped Up Forever we see a different Jace but in Pepped Up & Wylder we find the perfect book boyfriend in Jace… this last book also broke my heart… Pepper was one lucky lady to have Jace by her side but also all her friends and family.
Pepped up & Wylder also felt a little rushed as if all had to be wrapped up real quick.
Stacey Glemboski was a great choice as the voice of Pepper and Jace. There were times where I really thought Jace’s voice was a second narrator. Stacey was so good and gave both characters life and personality.

Fantastic series!
I had to keep going with this series. It does not standalone, so make sure to get the first boxed set to enjoy! Starting with book 4, Pep Talks, . While I would love for everything to always be rosey, this book gives us a look at life as Pepper enters her freshman year in college and hoping to have that storybook year with school, running and of course her boyfriend. But we all know life isn't like that, and things take a turn. I would love to say I it's all one person's fault, but there is a lot at play here. There is past hurt, family problems, and circumstances that need to be worked through. Emotional and still addictive, we go to book 5, Pepped up Forever. As a junior in college Pepper has set new goals for herself, and at this time in her life needs to learn and become intuitive. Ali Dean has picked up on all her cues, found her weaknesses and has let us watch Pepper mature into a wonderful young woman. As we have been involved with Jace too, we have seen him go from high school to college with goals in mind, troubled past and the fortitude to make change. I love it! It's a great story, let's us carouse with "our" friends to parties, see old friends and crazy ones and the best, to see Gran! And finishing out the series with book 6, Pepped Up and Wilder! Ah, this journey of Pepper and Jace has come to and end and what an story! Once again, Ali Dean had me entranced in their story as they enter marriage, their high profile careers and whatever comes with it. I was right their with them through each trial, felt their pain and love, enjoyed their triumphs, hated their tribulations and loved being with Bunny. Watching these two grow and mature from high school to adulthood is something we all can relate to. It's great fun having the characters consistently move from book to book, having those we love and those we don't, from great friends to mean girls. It's a wonderful series, and I especially loved the epilogue! Ali Dean has a winning series, one I will definitely recommend and add to my top listens.
Stacey Glemboski is this series, and I am so glad she narrated the entire thing. She became these characters, consistently kept the voices so we knew who was talking, could feel all the emotions they went through and found their essence. Her performance is amazing, and I can't wait to see where she takes us next.
