Summary

The Other Brother is a small-town second chance romance that can be listened to as a stand-alone romantic comedy. See why readers are falling in love with these blue-collar heroes.

I got the call. The dreaded call every child fears. My dad wasn't well, and the man who had always been my everything needed me. There was only one thing to do: pack up and head back to my small hometown. I had finally made my dream life in the city, with the great job and loving boyfriend. But was there really a choice not to go?

I found a wonderful job and a quaint house to rent; my boyfriend is working on joining me in Binghamton, and my favorite pizza place is only miles away. Life is good. Until I meet my neighbor. It's been three years since I've seen Aaron Walters, and my God is he all kinds of sexy gorgeous. Figures. He was supposed to be my forever, the man I grew old with, but he had different plans. How can a man who ripped my heart apart still trip me up? How can he make me still want him now more than ever?

I'm tempted, I'm drawn toward him, I'm completely and utterly unaware that I'm dating his biological brother.

Now two men own my heart. The question is, which brother will I choose?

A Wonderful love Story

We meet another couple in Meghan’s series of standalones, but sometimes they are characters we have met in previous books. This is the story of Smalls, friend and work partner to Tucker and Racer from previous books. Each of these men have had a hard life so it is gratifying to see each of the guys get their hea. So I was really pleased that it was Aaron’s turn.
As someone new moves in next door, Aaron can’t believe that it’s his ex-girlfriend Amelia, the girl he loved more than his self.
Amelia has moved back, because her father’s Alzheimer’s has gotten worse and she wants to be near him. Even though she has left Trey her boyfriend behind. He is hoping to follow as soon as he can.
I loved this couple together, this is a very emotional book. My god you could feel the chemistry between them. Unfortunately there was a lot of hurt and misunderstandings to get through before they reach HEA. I can’t recommend this book enough it’s a beautiful story and I loved every minute of it, and always good to see my boys happy.
I read this when it came out in book form, but I'm pleased to say the narrators brought the story to another level. I have not listened to either of the narrators before, but Rock Engel brought so much passion and emotion the role of Aaron. This would definitely be worth more than 5 stars

Couldn't finish it

I'm not sure what it was about this book but I didn't warm to the characters at all. Especially the heroine. I found myself not really caring whether they got together or not and skipping through a few scenes. I tried to persevere, but I gave up a few hours before the end.
