About this listen
And then, one day, he was lost.
Kate DiCamillo takes us on an extraordinary journey, from the depths of the ocean to the net of a fisherman, from the top of a garbage heap to the fireside of a hoboes' camp, from the bedside of an ailing child to the bustling streets of Memphis. And along the way, we are shown a true miracle, that even a heart of the most breakable kind can learn to love, to lose, and to love again.

Quite an emotion listen
Listened to this as it was my sons school book to keep up with the reading he was doing in class. I really enjoyed the story and was so into it that I found it quite emotional in places and really quite enjoyed it. My son has listened to and read it all also. I think he enjoyed it but found it quite challenging due to the sad parts.

A quite surprising story
My young grandson asked for this book on Audible and we listened to it together. At first I wondered if he might be upset by some of the things that happened to Edward, but he loved it. I would recommend it to any child over 8, and to all grandparents!

Worthy of Enid Blyton status
A beautiful book about a toy rabbit and his travels. I read this as work in school and it's ta book we're studying ( age 8-9) I love how the rabbit feels so real . It reminded me of reading Enid Blyton stories as a child.
