About this listen

He longs for companionship. She’s pining away in Boston. Will affection make it out to the Wild West?

Ranch hand Eddie Murtaugh worries he’ll never find a wife. And with poor reading and writing skills and no proper education, he has little hope of attracting a mail-order bride. So, he’s delighted when the letter his doctor friend helps him draft earns attention from an attractive New England woman of substance.

Fiona Wilkins’ socialite lifestyle holds no interest for her. Eager to escape her overbearing parents and excited by the idea of adventure on the frontier, she secretly replies to a gentlemanly rancher’s listing. So, when she learns her father wants to auction her off to a man she loathes, she brings forward her plans and escapes in the night on a train bound for Montana.

As Eddie’s nerves flare at the thought of presenting himself to the well-to-do lady, his anxiety turns to dread when he hears Fiona’s carriage was robbed. And instead of a bold new life in the arms of a rugged cowboy, Fiona’s dreams derail when the bandits take her hostage.

Will Eddie and Fiona survive the treacherous backcountry to get love back on track?

The Lonesome Cowboy’s Abducted Bride is the third book in the delightful Montana Westward Brides historical Western romance series. If you like strong-minded women, determined ranchers, and plenty of danger, then you’ll adore Amelia Rose’s enthralling story.

Sweet Historical Romance

As much as I enjoyed this story, I can't understand why she never told anyone where the stolen goods were located? They were in town several days before returning home.
This narration was still a bit choppy, but is she could relax a bit more, I would definitely raise the narration rating.
