Heartwarming Tale of Old and Young

Davies has a lovely way of writing heartwarming stories with equally endearing characters. Esther is a spitfire and I enjoyed her relationship with Bruno a lot. There are some great themes throughout. I recommend this book if you like feel good reads. It put me mind of Fredrik Bachman.
