About this listen
He rejected me for “reasons”. Too bad for him. No take-backs.
Rosie
Fate made a huge mistake when she mated me to Cadoc Collins. He’s the heir apparent. I’m a scavenger. My people are so low in this pack, we don’t even rank.
I should have known better, but for one night, I let myself forget the facts of life in Moon Lake. Cadoc Collins might be powerless to resist me, but he’s not going to claim me, either.
A pink line on a stick makes it a much bigger problem than my bruised heart.
I’m 18, knocked up, and publicly rejected by the future alpha. And this baby in my belly? It might as well be a target on my back.
Lucky for me I’m a scavenger. My kind are good at finding things, but we’re great at getting lost.
Cadoc
The fate of Moon Lake rests on my shoulders. I can’t claim the scavenger female.
The pack is on the verge of a revolt, and a mating so controversial could push our warring factions into open conflict.
All I need is time. I’ll do what’s expected of me as our future leader, and when the politics are sorted, I’ll do right by the odd little scavenger.
I’m the heir apparent. She’ll be there when I’m ready.
Right?
The Heir Apparent’s Rejected Mate is a wolf-shifter romance. No cheating. HEA guaranteed. Intended for adult listeners only.

An unwanted mate…
Rosie is a scavenger and Cadoc is the Alpha heir. They are total opposites yet mates. Cadoc faces a challenge as Rosie is the lowest of the ranks in his society. What I liked is that Rosie is no pushover, she might be shy but she has a mind of her own and has inner strength. I hated that she had to go through humiliation before his mate understood his homework. It took a bit for me to get into it but I am glad I kept on listening. Good narration too.

Mate
I loved the dual narration of Silas Hart and Elle Sonali
We meet Rosie who is a scavenger and Cadoc is a alpha next in line. In this pack the scavengers are treated like second class citizens. Cadoc and Rosie are fated mates, but Cadoc is next in line and the pack is on the verge of a revolt . They need to hold back telling the pack about their fate. But Rosie is pregnant. She will protect her pup even it means leaving . Cadoc has been taught to put the pack before everything, but he needs to protect his mate and unborn pup.

Good chemistry
This is a good storyline of wanting what you can’t have. The chemistry between these characters is what is tearing them apart. A love that shouldn’t exist blooms. A great performance.

Rejected Mates Romance.
I liked Caddoc and Rosie. This story felt different from some previous rejected mates stories.
Although Caddoc was the future alpha it sometimes felt like he had forgotten how to be a wolf. While Rosie was on what was considered the fringes of the pack she embraced her nature fully.
Some great side characters, angst and romance. I would have liked a little more steam and danger but overall I enjoyed the story and the unexpected outcome.

4.5 stars
4.5 stars . I have the same issues with this one I had with the first. As angsty as it was,bi just wish we had a bit more being an actual couple time. But I read this so fast. I really enjoyed it. I'm only sorry there's not more. Yet.

Plot twist
This book started off seeming like any other "rejected mates" story, but then when we got engrossed into the story, it turned out very differently. There were some great plot twists in the story, and some new takes on the way the people interacts with their wolves (I got a little Kyuubi from Naruto feeling). in the beginning, I thought of Cadoc as a grade A-douche, but he redeems himself when we get to see his side of the story, in my opinion.
The narrators did a really good job, was great listening to them.
