You will have a journey of pain, ups and downs and bravery. Una's disability caused her to be rejected. It took the pack a long time to see her and only her.

Different take on rejected mates
If you like the rejected mates troupe you’ll enjoy this one. It’s not the typical rejected mates and it has a great twist on the story. I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend.

Wow
Wow
I've honestly put this odd for a while because while I love PNR, I've never read a rejected mate story yet. And I've been missing out it seems. If you like some grovel in your stories, this might be the trope for you. It's angsty and Killian is a bit of a grade A A-hole at times, but once they see the truth, oh it's on. I only wish there were a few more or longer scenes with Killian and Una actually being a couple and not fighting. That's why this is a 4.5 star and not the full 5 for me. But it was a close call.

Narrating was excellent making the story rich and enveloping.
I love this book, the story is well constructed with a great sense of humour thrown in. Will definitely purchase next in series.

Very enjoyable
I loved how the tables are turned in this book. With the Alpha saving himself for his mate. It’s refreshing for the woman to have experience. A great performance.

Fantastic start to the series!
The Tyrant Alpha's Rejected Mate is a wonderfully written paranormal, rejected, fated-mate romance and a fantastic start to The Five Packs series. The storyline captured my attention from start to finish; a turbulent romance between an Alpha, Killian, and a late-bloomer wolf-shifter, Una. Their journey was tumultuous, angsty, hot, steamy, and wrapped in drama. The character development and plot are well integrated into the world-building. The Pack culture is misogynistic and frustrating but fits perfectly into the story. I'm definitely looking forward to the second instalment in the Five Packs series.
I really enjoyed Paulina Lear and Liam Sanderson's performances. They both did an excellent job with the narration. They captured the character's personalities and emotions, breathing life into them. Overall, Tyrant Alpha's Rejected Mate is aptly titled and was an enjoyable listen, one I'll recommend to all PNR enthusiasts.

An Enthralling Listen
I really enjoyed this angsty, humorous shifter romance. Una is Girl Goals, a secret lady boss helping her friends gain their independence. Killian took me a little time to warm up to, but the more he opened up the easier he was to fall for.
This is a bit of a slow burn read Killian really has to earn Una's trust after his brutal rejection. There are some steamy scenes and great banter, Una will not let him off easy.
The narrator's do a great job. As a personal preference I prefer Duet narration compared to the dual performed here, but overall the characters really do come to life. I listened at speed. 1.9×

Great PNR
Luna is 27 and she’s never shifted and she leads a pack of inmates females who are looked down on by the rest of the pack. Whilst serving food to the rest of the pack Luna shifts and declares Killian Kelly the pack Alpha is her mate but he rejects her coldly in front of all the pack so she runs. When Killian realises he’s made a mistake Luna doesn’t make things easy on him but he’s prepared to grovel until she forgives him. I really enjoyed listening to this Luna made me giggle several times I love the connection she had with her girls and how she stuck up for them taking all the blame when Killian finds out what they’ve been doing .

Rejected Mate Romance
The Tyrant Alpha's Rejected Mate by Cate C. Wells is a shifter romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Paulina Lear and Liam Sanderson. This is the first book in The Five Packs series.
This is the second book of Cate's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I loved the relationship that bloomed between Killian and Una. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
I can't wait for the next book in the series The Heir Apparent's Rejected Mate to be released on audio so I can get Rosie and Cadoc's story.
Paulina and Liam did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you like shifter romances or rejected mates romances.

Don’t let the title put you off
I kept hearing about this author and series but the book titles gave me the impression that they wouldn’t be well written. I was told to push ahead and am glad I did — this is so much better than the title and cover suggest!
Definitely recommend reading if you like rejected mate and grovelling tropes. It was a much better story than I anticipated.
I really liked the MCs and my only complaint is that there wasn’t enough steam. Will def read try another from this author
