About this listen

The Second World is a mire of intrigue; the game's creators have left several back doors permitting them to terminate anyone at will, and an unlikely sequence of events has brought someone unsuspecting into their field of attention.

One player has managed to upset the game world's balance, and now he's hunted by everyone. Every clan wants to recruit him for his achievements while other powers want him for their own, more sinister purposes. Now Ros must contend against an unseen enemy backed by the world's most powerful corporation while relying on only himself and his few trusted allies. The stakes have never been higher....

the gods of second world

when I first started the sing to the series I can honestly say it took me awhile to get into the books but I eagerly anticipate the next book in the series it does not take long before it starts to grow on you

Don't miss this one!

great story, its well paced and fluid. Likable characters and interesting progression for the protagonist. This is one of the very good littpg books.

well, it's over

Deeply underwhelming, thin characters, underdeveloped story.

This trilogy is not something I will bother to re-read, but I may try other materials the author has produced as I feel there's something in their writing that I appreciate.

I like a story that finishes

I am tried and sick of book series that go to infinite, always finishing in a cliff hanger.
but a fan pleasing epilogue would have been a nice touch.

found it hard to finish

I personally feel like even if I had started on the second half of the book I wouldn't have missed much. there is a lot of over explanation in all three book but this one is much worse. after listening to this I can truly understand mansplaining. it's pretty easy to see where the book is going and then when it gets there it's over in like 30mins. I found the 2nd book great and loved where it was going then I'm not sure what happened.
