Summary
Harlow’s celebrity daughter is about to make an announcement that will change his life. The decision? It’s going to send him on a collision course with love.
Former SEAL-turned-bodyguard Harlow isn’t prepared to have love smash face-first into his fist after one of the worst days of his life...or for it arrive in such a cute package.
For seven lonely years following the loss of his husband, he’s been too wrapped up in raising his teenage daughter to think about a relationship, much less with an employee young enough to be his son.
But the sparks he feels when he’s with shy, geeky Simon are starting to change his mind, and when circumstance strands them together under the same roof with just one air mattress between them...well, you know what they say. If a single spark can start a fire, Harlow and Simon are about to set the world ablaze.
The Decision is a contemporary omegaverse romance novel featuring a quirky group of single dads, 18D action, air mattress encounters, and two very different men who find exactly what they need in each other.

Amazing
An amazing addition by Piper Scott, think this is my favorite so far (keeping my opinion open until the full series is available). This would be a perfect Hallmark movie. This couple was a true pleasure to get to know. Michael Ferraiuolo was a master as always. Hope it will not be too long before next book is available, little bit addicted to the series.
This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Loving this series
I love this series by Piper Scott, and was thrilled to see it come to audio. I’m a huge Michael Ferraiuolo fan so each book is a delight. The Single Dad Support Group is this group of men who met online and who support each other. Hence the name. But there’s plenty of snark and joy and other stuff as well. Heck, they’ve even managed to meet in person.
Harlow is single dad to his celebrity daughter Evie. Evie is a great kid right up until the moment things go sideways and Harlow is forced to face things he hasn’t to this point. He’s been raising Evie since the death of his husband, and his entire world revolves around his daughter. He’s even become a bodyguard to protect her. A way to put all that SEAL training to work, I suppose.
In the past he’s hired a contractor to do his computer work – some of it legal, some not so much. He’s never given Simon much thought, until they encounter each other, literally.
Simon has had a crush on Harlow for freaking ever, but he doesn’t expect the meeting to start out as a confrontation. But things settle – somewhat – and the men find themselves sharing a tiny apartment and an air mattress. And, well, things get interesting from there.
I liked the dynamics in this book. Simon may be young, but he’s been holding together his family since the tragic loss of his parents. He has two brothers he loves, but who would be lost without him. He has a nephew he adores, but who also relies on him. His life is truly entrenched in Aurora while Harlow’s is in Hollywood. So how will they ever make it work?
Finally, I liked how Simon’s brother Jayne wound up joining the Single Dad Support Group. That means more books! I’m off to read book five next and I can’t wait. (Oh, and I finally got to find out why Harlow uses the screenname Love Harley…)

Another fantastic book in this series!
I love this series so much. As much as I might want to, I haven't read the books in this series. That's because I really, really wanted to listen to Michael Ferraiuolo's performance of the audiobooks. He has yet to disappoint me and The Decision was no exception.
The story is a very touching one. It's all about family and taking care of them even when you would much rather be doing something else. Still a teenager, Simon stepped up to help his family after his parents were killed. Several years later he is still taking care of them even though it means sacrificing his own happiness.
Harlow is also devoted to his family. After his husband died suddenly, all he has left is his daughter. She is a TV star and he protects her where ever she goes. She makes a decision that will bring Harlow and Simon face-to-face and boy do they have chemistry! Mild mannered Simon is a total tiger in bed. He knows what he wants and he wants Simon to give it to him. HOT!!
This story had me hanging on every word. There is action and romance and sadness and happiness all rolled into a wonderful story that provided me with many hours of listening pleasure over the last couple of days. I love books that bring out my emotions and The Decision did that more than once.
While this is the fourth book in the series, I think you could probably read/listen to it without reading the first three books first. You'll miss the background of the other members of the Single Dad Support Group (they do a lot of online chatting in each of the books) but there's enough information that you shouldn't be too confused. However, for best enjoyment I recommend reading the books in order.
A complimentary copy of this audiobook was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author and/or narrator.

Another wonderful book on this series...
As a huge fan of this series I was waiting for Harlow's story and Piper Scott didn't dissapoint. Another wonderful love story full of heartwarming moments and a lot of sweet, witty and sometimes funny comments by the Single dad support group that helped Harlow and Simon find their forever. I enjoyed a lot the beautifully written characters brought to life by Mr Ferraiuolo, and his amazing voice acting and performance in this interesting plot. Really, every new installment in this series is better than the previous one and always kept me at the edge of my seat. I can't wait for more audiobooks on this series!!

Another HEA!
OMG, I love Simon and Harlow (& their families).
An unusual meet-cute if sorts and a sort if instant attraction (after the nose is set). This story has so much heart and healing and growth for almost all the characters. Simon slowly comes out if his shell and asks for what he wants, Harlow opens his heart to love again and we meet feirce and sassy Jayne who is totally awesome. This book has all the feels, heart and love with a little danger and so many emotions it made me cry. These two were made for each other and I loved the beautiful Single Dads helping with the HEA.
A fantastic addition to the series and I can't wait for more! I loved it 🥰

i bloody love this series!
Independent reviewer for Gay Romance Reviews, I was gifted the audio file of this book.
This is book 4 in the Single Dads Support Group series. Its not NECESSARY to read/listen to the other 3, but it would help a great deal. Much of Harlow's life is a secret and you need to know what the other guys know, or don't know, as the case may be. Also, they are all 4 and 5 stars from me. (Book 2 doesn't quite hit 5 stars)
Harlow's teenage daughter disappears and he is distraught. He calls upon Simon, the computer wizard he works with, to find her. When Harlow comes face to face with the person keeping his daughter from him, he lashes out, and it takes a single sound to bring him round, to actually listen to what's happening to Evie. The fact that Harlow breaks his nose when they first meet should have put Simon off, but since H has been the feature of his fantasies for so long, the punch just shows Simon how strong H is and how he can give Simon what he really wants: Harlow himself.
So, book 3 I said was my favourite of the first three. NOW? This book is my favourite!
Simon and H have worked together, remotely, for 3 years and Simon has lusted after H for as long. Finding him on his doorstep, looking for Evie was a shock, but when Evie says she is staying with Simon's younger brother, H decides he is staying too. And Simon has his fantasy sleeping right there on the couch. Things move quickly for Simon and H, VERY quickly. The whole book takes place over one short week, while Evie decides what she really wants to do. And it's right and proper that these guys move at this speed, given what happens to Simon here. Harlow is no stranger to lost loves, and when he falls, he falls fast and hard. He tells Simon this. But when Evie decides she wants to go home, to Hollywood, Simon can't go. His brothers need him.
Enter big brother Jayne, and his inclusion into the Single Dads Support Group. Jayne and the other dads move mountains for Simon and Harlow. And I loved that they did.
It's sexy hawt, but mostly because Simon and H are in the living room and *trying* to be quiet. Not succeeding though!
It's deeply emotional, I thought. H is very philosophical about things, about his daughter, about his dead husband, about the single dads too. But mostly about Simon. That first time they meet, when H breaks Simon's nose, even when H thought his daughter was in danger, he noted the beauty in the kid, his eyes, his body. And H knows very quickly that Simon really is his, and will be, however long it takes to get them Happy Ever After.
All the the other single dads take part, even if Knot is in New York and everyone else is in Aurora (apologises if that's not how you spell it, I've only HEARD it, not seen it written down) and I loved that they do.
Mr Michael Ferraiuolo continues to narrate this series, and I am struggling to find new ways to say I bloody love his narration of these books! All the character's voices are consistent throughout the series, and I have no trouble keeping up with everyone when their are multi person conversations. The group chats are still hilarious, and Ferraiuolo gets over all the guys personalities across all the books.
I look forward to continuing with this series, I want ALL the guys to get their Happy Ever After, and Knot is the one I'm waiting for. But HIS story is the last one!
5 stars for the book
5 stars for the narration
5 stars overall

Misunderstandings and Romance
The Decision is book four in the Single Dad Support Group series and focuses on Harlow, or LoveHarly as the Chat Group knows him, a dedicated father who’ll go through extreme lengths to keep his daughter happy and safe. Simon is the young omega who’s had to shoulder more responsibility than he was ready for when his parents died tragically in a car crash. It’s up to him to be the glue that keeps his little family together. Both men put family before their own needs, but when a misunderstanding forces them to live together, the sparks between them are undeniable.
I loved this book! Which is no surprise because I absolutely adore every book in the Single Dad Support Group series. Just like all the other books in the series so far, Piper Scott packs so much into such a rich romance. Piper doesn’t shy away from fan-favorite tropes such as forced proximity, dating-your-boss, or misunderstandings/mistaken identity just to name a few that popped up in this book. However, her use of these tropes always feels new and fresh, and has me completely enthralled with the book.
Michael Ferraiuolo narrates this book, just like he narrated the previous three books in the series, and just like the other books, he does a magnificent job. His voice is extremely pleasant to listen to and he really does a great job with embodying the characters. Each character’s voice felt distinct and it made it extremely easy to listen to the book without getting loss. The audio production was well done with no glitches. I highly recommend this book.

Amazing
I love love love this series. Each book is so special and unique and every storyline so different. I really appreciate that as a reader. I had the best time listening the audiobook. The narrator was fantastic as always. Simon won my heart. He was so incredibly adorable, I wanted to hug him. He was also very naughty. The book was steamy. And I liked the newest addition to the single dad group chat. I can't wait for his story. More please!

Great series continues
I absolutely love The Single Dads Support Group series, and this is a perfect addition to it! Harlow and Simon are great, well rounded, relatable characters with great chemistry! I live Harlow’s interactions with the other characters, especially his daughter and the messages from the Support Group! Michael Ferraiuolo did an amazing job bringing this to life and it is an easy and fun listen!
