Joseph M. Marshall III
About this listen
Here, award-winning Lakota historian Joseph M. Marshall III reveals the nuanced complexities that led up to and followed the battle. Until now, this account has been available only within the Lakota oral tradition. The Day the World Ended at Little Bighorn is required listening for anyone enthralled by the tale of the encounter that changed the scope of both America and the American landscape.

Interesting and sad
Hard to say much more than that. A sad reflection on society back then. Even sadder that not much seems changed even today in this fine world

An inernational disgrace
A series of excellent books describing the world of and history of Lakota.
Unnecessary and deplorable punishment perpetrated on an indigenous and respectful race of people written and read by, in my opinion, one of the best writers of the day... Brilliant

Fantastic audiobook
Much of the Lakota history is oral. Listening to this book was like being told a fantastic true oral history of the battle of the Little Bighorn by a Lakota warrior. I cannot recommend this book enough.
