About this listen
After 26,000 years the Void Wraith have returned. The Eradication has begun.
Mankind’s outer colonies are disappearing. Without warning. Without a trace. Fleet command chalks the attacks up to pirates, but Captain Dryker of the UFC Johnston isn’t buying it.
Defying command, he leads his misfit crew into hostile territory in search of answers. They encounter the mythical Void Wraith, an unstoppable legend whispered by the first race. After 26,000 years the Void Wraith have returned to begin the next Eradication. Their technology is superior, their motives unclear.
Humanity cannot stop them. Not without help. Captain Dryker’s only hope is to forge an alliance with mankind’s greatest enemy, the savage Tigris.
One maverick captain, an unlikely crew, and an aging vessel are all that stand between humanity and the Eradication.

An Enjoyable series
I liked the books and enjoyed the plot ,mostly. despite the feeling of repetition with a never ending list of bad guys the story had enough twists and turns to keep me listening. it's a true sci fi book with lots of great ideas and interesting technology that keep the listener entertained and I like a story where the good guys win more than they loose. I would recommend the series as they certainly made my working day more enjoyable and I thought it was great value for money too.

My personal opinion
For the first hour of this series I struggled with the voice of the narrator, for me I found the tone of his voice hard to listen to, but after a little while I settled into it and was able to start enjoying the books better.
overall I found the story very enjoyable, I found myself wanting to listen to more to see how the story progressed. I liked the way the main characters evolved through the story and even if this is classed as the complete works the story hasn't finished and could carry on for a long time...And if it does I would love to hear it.
My only complain is one of the main alien races of the series is similar to a humanoid version of an animal we have on our planet, I have seen this happen a lot in books, why? the universe is full of unknown answers, we are such a tiny part of it! life was created on earth due to lots of factors being in place, if the sun was closer could we not have evolved into intelligent life differently. the fun of science fiction is it can be anything! Aliens don't have to be humanoid, don't have to resemble earth's creatures, can be created of elements we haven't even discovered yet!. But enough of a little rant :) I really enjoyed this series and hope one day it isn't the complete Saga

some good some pretty glaring plot holes
I finished it but there were a bunch of times I found the story forced. looking at the authors other books one is about how to sell audio books.

More
One of the most gripping and heroic Si-fi adventures I have experienced, I myself felt quite saddened when it finished and wanted it to just keep going.

loved it, well written and loved the narration
wish it had one more book to help go through how lives changed, or even better the story continues
