Summary

It's the most wonderful time of the year in Wishing Wood, where the forest sparkles with fairy lights, the snow is falling, the fire is crackling and love is in the air. From the bestselling author of The Wisteria Tree Cottage comes the perfect romance to warm your heart this Christmas.

Evergreen Winter lives an unconventional life. Her home is a ramshackle red caravan and her Clydesdale horse Thunder is her only companion. She's never anywhere long enough to put down roots, and that's just the way she likes it. Until she arrives at beautiful Wishing Wood eight days before Christmas...

When Evergreen accepted the job to play the role of Mrs Christmas at the magical treehouse resort nestled within lush forest she never expected her Santa Claus to be the very gorgeous Heath Brookfield. From the moment they meet their connection is electric, and each day they play husband and wife Evergreen gets a glimpse of how incredible her life could be if she stayed in Wishing Wood for good.

But the last time Evergreen opened her heart to love she lost everything and she swore she'd never rely on anyone ever again. Heath believes he's the one person who can change her mind. But with Evergreen set to leave on Christmas Eve, Heath doesn't have long. Can he convince her to stay or will she ride away forever in her little red caravan taking his heart with her?

Perfect for fans of Jill Mansell, Trisha Ashley and Sarah Morgan, this unforgettable romance is guaranteed to make you smile and melt your heart. Like a creamy hot chocolate with marshmallows, you won't want to put this deliciously heartwarming novel down.

Lovely narration

Firstly this is not book 2 it’s book 3! I was so frustrated when Iooked for the next book and noticed I had missed Wisteria Tree Cottage which is Meadow’s story.
This is Evergreen and Heath’s story and it is absolutely delightful. The narration is clever and emotive. Highly recommended.

I loved this!

I couldn't wait for Heaths story and it was as good as I expected and probably better. I absolutely love Heath I think he has to be my favourite of the brother’s. I was a bit sad when it ended , I do hope there is more to come from this fabulous series!

Nice story

Nice story, shame about the annoying voice of the reader. And to many references to the names of the person who had just spoken, a ‘he’ or ‘she’ would have been enough until a new person was brought into the conversation.

Lovely easy read

Such a lovely book and a nice end of The Wishing Wood Series.

I did find the narrators voice quite hard work and a bit over the top. I just think it would be better suited with another voice.

good storytelling

I could not make it through the book due to the narrators voice which was a pity as it has a good story line

Festive Fun

This is the 3rd book in the 'Wishing Wood ' series and it was so good listening to 'Heath Brookfields' story as we had heard his 2 brothers stories in the first 2 books.

I love Christmas books and this did not disappoint. The sex scenes were steamy and sensual but that did not detract from the main importance of family, friendships and friends who you choose to became your family.

Holly Martin has done a great job in this series, as writing about The Woods with over 37 TreeHOUSES the emphasis on HOUSES just amazes me. Do these woods exist? I wish they did!
Penny Scott Andrews did her narration job fantastically, she voiced so many different characters including a Scottish Elf🎅🎄❄⛄💖👍
I didn't a credit on this book and I am happy I did as I recommend this book and the other two
