Summary

Werewolf. Billionaire. Bastard. Husband?

There's no way that Taylor Stockdale is marrying her rude, arrogant, sexy boss. Unfortunately, billionaire CEO Cliff Bronson's not the kind of man who takes no for an answer. He holds the fate of Taylor's best friend in his hands - and he's willing to bargain for Taylor's hand in marriage. But he's openly avoided her for the past year, so why is he suddenly demanding a wedding - before the next full moon? And why did he call her his "mate"? And why does everyone in the little town of Hidden Hills act so weird once a month?

Cliff Bronson has made a terrible mistake. He'd been long-distance lusting after the curvy secretary for the past year - he likes her smart mouth as much as her full figure. The second he met Taylor in person, he knew that she was his, and he knew she was a werewolf - he smelled it on her. So, as was his right, he demanded that she be his mate. Unfortunately, it turns out that Taylor has no idea of what she is, and the first rule of being a werewolf is, nobody talks about being a werewolf. Now it's a race against time to convince her that she's his one and only - before his pack enacts their terrible and ancient law calling for the death of any human who learns of their existence.

Contains mature themes.

Very similar to SW

This book is so similar to Suzanne Wright’s Phoenix pack series that it was a shock it was written by a different author. It was good, but a bit same old,
The style of writing and the same narrator made me think too much os SW, and that isn’t great.

Great

Great story and in general great narration apart from the voice that was put on for main hero always made me feel like he needed a lozenge

Nice and steamy

Steamy and nice story. Liked the bossy Bronson and the feisty Taylor. Steamy scenes that I really enjoyed.

Good read

It's a good read, decent plot to follow.
OK, I really read it for easy smut and that was great. Nothing to intense just steamy.
The story is a simple one, one seen in many Mate shifter books.
Alpha wants their mate, something needs doing before they can do it, there is a villain or antihero and a struggle to balance the task and getting their mate.
In this book the struggle to get the mate was not that hard, the twist as to how she became a shifter is a little weird...more Psychotic than evil genius...but I was still surprised though.
overall a good read...doesn't make me want to jump right onto the next book, I just know they are there when I want to read them...but I'm not hurrying onto what happens to Grant.
It reminded me of the Wild Pack series by Alisa Woods....but that one us better in other ways which is why I'm like...okay book 🤷🏿‍♀️

Mediocre

I think the things the male characters say is unrealistic and sounds more like a feminine voice. The voice for cliff sounds wrong. Interesting storyline.

Ware mates

Love this book, I thought it was great. It wasn’t too much as in guts and gore or too much romance. Either, it was a nice blend. The voices were great and easy to listen to.

Not a bad read

Not a bad story and storyline. An easy read truthfully. So if you find yourself at a loose end, give it a go.
