Summary

This is Limmy’s second book.

It’s a whole load of new, odd, and hilariously grim short stories.

Tom is in a soft play with his daughters. He’s bored. He’s so bored he can move things with his mind.

A man fills up a mate’s biscuit tin without ever telling him, to see what happens.

Maggie’s boyfriend Iain bought a curtain. It keeps attacking them. She wants it out the house.

A man is sitting in his wheelie bin at two in the morning, and he wants to tell you why.

Kenny’s mate Scott is suicidal and ridden with guilt. Kenny takes him on holiday to Benidorm. It’ll be some laugh.

Grimly hilarious, hilariously grim

I do worry about Limmy but I’m glad he exists. Must be weird to live inside his head, though. Jesus.

Classic Limmy

Very bloody good. I get the feeling that Limmy doesn’t ever think ‘will people find this funny’, he just writes the stories for himself and it’s either so funny that I make everyone and their dog listen to it twice, or I don’t get the punchline at all and move on. Strongly advise you don’t listen to this on public transport with your earphones on, you might end up like me, crying while trying not to laugh in the back corner or a bus. I’d avoid me at all costs

Great and random

Some really good stuff in here. Some really just don't get there but that's always the case with Limmy, that's what makes him great. Well worth a listen. More like this please.

usual limmy fare. which is a positive thing

some great stream of consciousness writing here with stories that very rarely have an ending but is keeping with the tone of limmys work. fans will enjoy, certainly

Was sad when it ended

I love Limmy's ability to take the mundane world and turn it into something shocking. A few his stories have stuck with me for days after finishing this book. Funny, tragic and weird all at the same time, just fantastic,

Limmyesque

No one I’ve come across can write and tell stories like Limmy. Funny, tragic, outrageous - the lot. One day the term ‘limmyesque’ will be in the dictionary to describe something or some event that’s off the wall and kind of hard to categorise.
Limmy has the ability to scratch under the surface of your skin and at the same time make you laugh at things you shouldn’t really be laughing at.
What a joy it is to have Limmy in the world.

awesome narration by the author, great that they are so short and consumable at mainly around 10-15mins each.
