Fast-paced and sassy!
First of all, this is the fifth book in the series and it features characters from earlier books. This series is best enjoyed in order, in my opinion, though it is stand alone.
Emergency services dispatcher Missy and FBI agent Casper do not make a good first impression on each other. But under their clashing personalities is a chemistry that cannot be denied. Their story is fun to listen to though there are moments filled with angst and emotion.
I love how the focus of this series is community but rather than being predictable and saccharin sweet, each book focuses on some real hard-hitting issues. This balances the sweetness and adds depth to the story. I am already looking forward to the next book because there are a few questions left unresolved for the Celebration community.

Loved
Missy is a sweet and sassy take no prisoners police dispatcher. Casper is an FBI agent sent to protect Ian and his family. Missy and Casper go undercover pretending they are a couple. Soon lines get blurred.
