Summary
Emergency room doctor Rachel Wilde and detective Grant Murphy meet by chance and it takes only one glance and a simple, gentle touch to ignite their senses.
When Grant's wife is in a tragic accident, Rachel goes above and beyond the call of duty to save her life. It is the moment she faces Grant again that their lives begin to spin out of control and they realize the lives of their loved ones were deeply intertwined.
The distorted loyalties of the ones they lost will drive a wedge between them and it will take another death, a last will, and a look beyond the grave to find the path they must follow.

My Distorted Loyalty Review
Grant and Rachel meet at a local store one day while shopping with there teenage children. From the very first time they see each other they have a connection, but both are married to different people. In a cruel twist of fate, both end up losing there spouses in different ways.
Can they find love with each other or is fate just twisted enough to keep pulling them apart.
Loved the story, the plot was easy to follow and all of the characters were lovable. I laughed and I cried, it tore at my heart strings.

Get ready for a heartwarming romance
This book starts out with great suspense. As Rachel and her son meet up with the son's girlfriend, and her father is with her. There's innocent flirting, and then the wife shows up and is struck down while her family watches. Rachel turns out to be a doctor and immediately begins working on the wife. Unfortunately, she is unable to save her, and the husband immediately starts to blame her. The son is determined to attend the burial and Rachel hangs back, so as not to upset the husband. To her surprise, she finds her own husband lurking there in the background and you think, 'Aha, I know where this is going. I've read many stories like this; cheating husband is caught and now they have to put the pieces of their marriage back together.' Only you don't know! Stacy Eaton has fooled us and takes the story in a very unique direction. I loved the suspense in this book and would have listened all in one day if it weren't for obligations getting in the way. The characters are definitely interesting and the story plotted expertly and worth the time and a credit. I absolutely loved the dual narration. The narrators did a superb job. Thank you Stacy, for the review copy of this book.

another good listen
I enjoyed listening to this book. I really enjoy this author and her writing style. She writes engaging stories that capture your attention. The narrators were pleasant and brought the characters to life. There were parts of this story that I didn't like but over all it was a great book. I will continue to read/listen to this author.

Distorted Loyalty
This story with a touch suspense started really good. I was so certain I was going to enjoy it until the end ! The flirting between Rachel and Grant at the beginning was light and fun , the characters were engaging and I was pleasantly surprised at the portrayal of the adolescents in the book.

Loyalty
I loved listening to both Marie Rose and Chris Chamberlain. The dual narrator was brilliant
While out shopping , Rachel and Grant meet each other, and release there is a connection, problem is both are married already, so do not act on this connection.
Fate has her way of making things happen, even it is through sorrow. Both Rachel and Grant lose their partners. Will fate twist again...
I laughed and I cried, loved the characters and the story.

Loved it
Really enjoyed this story and Marie’s narration but not I’m afraid Chris Chamberlain’s. It’s not that he has a bad voice just don’t like his style.
Will definitely look for more books by Stacy Eaton as she has a really nice writing style and great characters.
