About this listen
Forty-eight hours after the Upheaval, reality is beginning to set in at the Whitaker Estate. The world, As We Know It, has ended.
Dillon Mitchell and her friends are left to survive, after discovering most of the population, at least in the United States, has mysteriously died.
While they struggle to come to terms with their devastating losses, they are faced with the challenge of creating a new society, which is threatened by the divergent factions that may tear the community apart from the inside.
Even if the group can unite, external forces are gathering that could destroy their fragile existence.
Meanwhile, Dillon’s budding relationship with the elusive Skylar Lange faces obstacles, when Skylar’s hidden past is revealed.

Another installment.....
Another installment of this dystopian tale that follows a group of survivors at The Whittaker Estate. This book is especially emotion ridden ! The narrator is someone I have gotten used to but she can be a challenge, an odd mix of voices some of which don't work ! This audio like the first does not standalone so be prepared to buy all thee !

cliffhangers', I hate 'em
following immediately from book1, the survivors slowly here of other groups, lge and small, across America, some helpful, or suspicious, and one dangerous.
meanwhile, establishing order between themselves is a heated meeting, but gathering supplies of utmost importance.
there are personal rifts, mourning, making friendships, and romance.
it's brilliant 👏
the full gamut of human emotions, encompassing nearly 30 characters, Rita Potter brings it all together like weaving a Persian rug,
the narrator takes time to get used to, but with such writing the story is most important, and I enjoyed her tones after couple of chapters.
I love it, and can't wait for book 3
