Summary

Cadet Qaylan Furlong's father was killed by the Borg in the battle of Wolf 359. Now, 10 years later, the Borg are attacking again, and Starfleet won't allow Cadet Furlong to stay aboard the Starship Cheyenne to avenge his father's death - but Q will. He'll do better than that, in fact, taking the cadet back in time and putting him on the same ship as his father to give Qaylan a chance to save him - and the entire Federation - on a mission of extreme danger, difficult choices, and suprising results.

Star Trek Borg, with John De Lancie

Review 107. Star Trek Borg Audio book

This is the 2nd time I've listened to this short audiobook in the last 3 weeks.

Having just finished watching Star Trek Picard season 2 which stars John De Lancie as Q who plays a major part in this audiobook.

I actually enjoyed listening to this audiobook even more than the previous time because I have just finished watching a Star Trek series.

I will never get bored listening to this audiobook and very tempted to try to get the CDROM game working on my PC even though it is designed for an older version of Windows.

Superb!!

As the title says, this is superb. Anyone familiar with Star Trek, will know just how fascinating encounters with Q can be, add The Borg, and throw in some messing about with the time space continuum, and you have a real recipe for success.

John De Lancey adds his usual brand of Q sarcastic humour, which not only makes you smile, but also adds to the storyline. Speaking of the storyline............excellent stuff, with some surprising twists and turns.

A must buy for any Star Trek fan!!

excellent

I played this game back in the 90's and never made it to the end so this was interesting.
however, I do think that at just over 2 hours long, it's expensive.

Enjoy Assimulating

Nice little coda romp to the beginning of Worf 359 battle that heralds the fearsome Borg.

Ok to listen to when you have nothing else

This is a book based on a computer game it ok to listen to when you have nothing else , but is not a real Star Trek novel. It has characters that are only extras in a computer game and I had feelings for them because they were only two dimensional characters

Star Trek: Borg

I got this because I use to have the roll playing game to it and never could complete it, kept getting killed, and I think Q got fed up with me.
So it was nice to see how it should have been played, and how may of ended

Raging disappointment

I'm a trekkie, i had a spare credit and thought, "why not?" It has got John deLancie in it so it can not be all bad.

No, it really IS that bad. Blatant cash in on what must have been an interactive CD.

AVOID
