Life Changing
Loved the book, fantastic read. Interviewed Paul Nanson on a trip to Sandhurst and he's an incredibly down to earth and truly inspiring character. Even in simple conversation he spouts nothing but wisdom and pure leadership capability.
Fantastic man and a fantastic book.

Hugely insightful
After reading previous reviews, it was understood that the speed of the delivery was an issue , so to fix that a speed increase was required. Full of inspirational and motivational tips to help us find our fullest potential.

Inspiring read
This book definitely motivated me through changes that had to be made. I will read it again soon. I found the reader slow at first but after increasing the playback speed slightly I was able to really enjoy this book. I wish I had read this as a teenager as its full of great advice for life.

Everyone should hear this
This book was a great listen as someone who plans to attend RMAS with some excellent insight into the why behind much of the training. That being said it performs its task as a self help book with distinction. Everyone has something to take away from this book and improve themselves. I just wish it were longer!

Finally! The British Army's Leadership Secrets
There are a lot of books published by American soldiers, telling us about the psychology behind good leadership. However, very few by British soldiers on this subject.
Here, at last is a book which goes a long way to redressing this balance. It's a really good - feet firmly on the ground - perspective on what Sandhurst teaches its students. It is well told, without theatrics and gives the reader solid advice.
However, the book is somewhat spoiled by the robotic perfocmance of Theo Solomon, who appears to have no real interest in the subject-matter.

Inspiring Leadership Lessons
I bought this book on the basis of an interest in Military Leadership and preexisting admiration of former Armed Forces Officers that I have worked with in the private sector. Although the narration can be a bit slow and sleep enducing the content is first class and so applicable to every day life. Highly recommended.
