Summary
Dave Aston is a dead man walking. He was a member of the elite British SAS. Black Ops in Iraq and Afghanistan. Until that final mission into bandit country. Unauthorised, with no back up. That was when his luck ran out ...
Now, he's returned home to an alien civilian life. Everything is lost: his marriage, his home and his self-respect. Down and out on the cold, mean streets of his homeland. There he discovers that the astonishing circle of deceit is complete. But is he just too far down to fight back against a new evil force at work in his own back yard? Can he possibly find the strength and courage to avenge his friends and save himself?

Poor effort
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
Story was weak and having read many books involving SAS people this was one of the worst. If you believe that a specialist in covert operations would empart the details to a coffee shop waitress then read on.......
What was most disappointing about Terence Strong’s story?
very weak and totally unbelievable ending.

Former Special Forces versus drugs dealers
If you’ve listened to books by Terence Strong before, how does this one compare?
I have read all Terence Strong's previous work. This wasn't the best, though it was a reasonable standard and had a very hard act to follow
Was Some Unholy War worth the listening time?

I am a massive fan of TS work and have read every one of his books since being hooked by whisper who dares, the book took along time to come out for whatever reason but was worth the wait
