About this listen

Cooper Fox thought he was just an ordinary guy - until he woke up with superhuman abilities and a target on his back.

Now, he's on a mission to uncover the truth about his past and take down the shadowy organization that created him, a one-man army in a world of corporate greed, government conspiracies, and cutting-edge science gone wrong. Teaming up with Kristin Hegel, a deadly ex-CIA operative with her own agenda, Cooper infiltrates the inner circles of the world's elite, where he'll need every one of his engineered abilities to survive.

But as Cooper digs deeper, he uncovers a global conspiracy that threatens not just his life, but the future of humanity itself. With billionaire-funded super soldiers, Russian operatives, and a mysterious 'sibling' from his past all gunning for him, Cooper must decide who to trust in a world where loyalty is as obsolete as natural DNA.

Gathers pace.

I stopped listening a couple of times during the early part of the book. But it gathers pace and draws you in. Worth persevering with. Another enjoyable romp from Mr Birmingham.

Disappointing

I was looking forward to this as I had really enjoyed Sleeper Agent, however it feels like half a book and is very slow burning. Hopefully the future of this series will still be bright but this book is a mis-step for me.

Ying and yang

Complete contrast to the first book. This book didn't feel like it was going anywhere unlike the first book!
