About this listen
One particularly stormy night, Roe wakes to hear her daughter crying and Virginia is nowhere to be found. Roe's brother Philip helps her search the house and they happen upon a body outside...but it isn't Virginia's.
Now, not only does she have a newborn to care for, Roe also has to contend with a new puzzle - who is this mystery woman dead in their backyard, and what happened to Virginia?

Ok but
Not up to the standard of rest of series. Too much focus on baby which did not take plot forward.

Perfect
Love these stories, so cozy, engaging, perfectly narrated as usual. Hoping for more soon.

Endless moaning
… and endless breastfeeding. Had to give up on this one. Should have taken note of the other reviews, but had very low expectations, just wanted a fluffy crime novel. Also there seemed to be something unpleasant going on on the race front: unsatisfactory black employees, whiny Jewish neighbours - all very privileged and smug, won’t be coming back.

Not one of her best works - not one of her worst
A little mediocre, a little meh. Not a bad read for a one time read on a dark afternoon with not much else to do.

Six chapters of Breastfeeding - weird
Not sure I am going to get through this book. I have just had to listen to 6 chapters of breastfeeding. I have no objections to breastfeeding, I’m a mum, but this is excessive, borderline obsessive and really really boring. Also it’s just weird.
