Summary
Miss Marple meets Oscar Wilde in this new series of cosy mysteries set in the picturesque Cotswolds village of Bunburry.
Harold Wilson, police sergeant in the picturesque Cotswolds village of Bunburry, loathes Alfie McAlister. Alfie is handsome, popular, a self-made multimillionaire - and worst of all, he and his friends Liz and Marge are much better than the police at catching villains. But Sergeant Wilson loathes one person even more - Bunburry's vicar, Philip Brown - and is thrilled by the chance of locking him up for a local crime. When Reverend Brown refuses to defend himself or produce an alibi, it's up to the Bunburry Triangle to uncover what's going on.
Nathaniel Parker, born in 1962, graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and went on to join the Royal Shakespeare Company. His television career began in 1988 when he played Flying Officer 'Flash' Gordon in the LWT mini-series Piece of Cake. He is also the lead in the BBC series The Inspector Lynley Mysteries, based on the novels by Elizabeth George. Nathaniel Parker has an extensive list of audio books to his credit, ranging from the classics of Charles Dickens and Thomas Hardy to more modern writings and children's books.

Loved it …
Really cosy continuation, love to just curl up after a busy week and escape into the world of Bunburry, Nathaniel is just the best narrator, along with Sam Dewhurst-Phillips of the Karen Menuhin series..love both of these equally, and hope they go on forever…keep them coming please..

Another Bunbury tale
Gentle listening. Marge, Liz, Alfie, Oscar, Emma, are becoming firm favourites of mine. The tea shop and the pub too.

Character backstory s no plot
Usually love these books but disappointed with this one.
Narrative excellent as usual.
Would recommend you skip this title unless you want the Vickers back story.
