Cosy and comforting
Well-written, with a cosy village background and a wealth of characters, though I did guess the ending correctly. Going to listen to the next one now

A really cosy mystery
When this book was described to me as a cosy mystery I was a little reluctant. I had visions of Angela Landsbury in Cabbot Cove with a murdered cousin however it was still a thoroughly enjoyable listen. The narrator kept me listening and I enjoyed the protagonists "investigation". It is a cosy mystery and it was a lovely change from the usual helter skelter anxiety inducing thrillers I usually listen to.

a perfect re listen
l thourghly enjoyed this listen the first time becoming absorbed in village gossip with all the misdirection. lt has been just as good the second time around

Cute and Cosy
Mystery on Hidden Lane is exactly what it says on the tin. A cosy mystery, which manages to maintain the listener's interest whilst never taxing the brain too much. Saxford St. Peter sounds idyllic and somewhere I'd very much like to visit, especially the tea rooms. Eve Mallow is a likeable character and I can see this series is going to run and run. Well narrated by Eilidh Beaton.

Enjoyable mystery
I enjoyed this book and found the narrator excellent, which can make a big difference on how an audio book is received. I found getting to know the various characters was easy and was soon immersed in the mystery while also enjoying the description of the area that our sherlock had made a temporary home. I am going to get the next one in the series and hope it is equally enjoyable, just the thing to while away a few hours whilst sitting in the garden.

Slow story
Had to give up, not enough to keep me interested. Tried several times to get into it as I didn't want to give up, perhaps it becomes more interesting the further in you get.

Superb narration
I really like these cosy murders ideal bedtime listening. Eilidh's voice is so soothing and lovely to listen to.
