Waste of money. Teaches you nothing
I have had the micky taken out of my voice and accent for all of my life. I had to had speech therapy as a kid. Never helped much and they gave up on me. I thought this would help.
Roger Love has a few exercises but it will take 12 hours to get there. The book is basically a story of all the famous people Love has met. You get a few hours in to the book and you think he is going to start the exercises. No. When you finally get 1 exercise you have to go on to his website to listen to it. It's not in book. To get to view his exercise you have to register. You will then get hundreds of emails that go on about nothing.
The book is about nothing. Pointless. It will not help. It was really disappointing. A massive let down.
Good luck to Roger Love. He's a millionaire with a great life. He is terrible in this book and it's a terrible listen.
If you need help do not buy this.

Beware of self-narrated books
What didn’t you like about Roger Love’s performance?
This is a good book and I believe the author is an excellent voice coach. However, I'm quite disappointed at the book because of the unnatural way the author narrates his own book. He keeps intentionally and excessively placing stresses on every few syllables, which makes listening a tiring and irksome experience. I decided to give up after listening for half an hour and went to buy a paper edition of the book instead.
Any additional comments?
The book would have been far better if performed by narrators such as Heather Henderson, Brian Holsopple, Erin Bennett, etc.

Frustrating listen. Endless stories
I'm currently 49 minutes into this audiobook and it's getting even more and more frustrating to listen to. Roger keeps telling you he'll teach you how to do this and that, turning you into a world-class singer, but yet I still haven't heard a single exercise. It's just stories of how amazing he thinks he is and constant name-dropping of celebrities he's worked with. Maybe he actually is as good as he says he is but he needs to learn when to stop and move on; he's like that one annoying friend who never shuts up talking. 49 minutes and he's still rambling on, with no end in sight of these stories.
On top of this, I'm concerned about how well the results will be when I finally get to the exercises (if they even exist?). The irony is, Roger has an incredibly strange way of speaking...in a book which is supposed to improve your voice. He draws out word after word, over-emphasising vowels and it's just frustrating to listen to.
I'll update my review after I've listened to the full thing. I'm hoping it's worth it. 12 hours of Roger speaking is going to be a tough listen!
