About this listen

Will the truth set her free...or keep her forever a prisoner of the past?

When Charity ran away with the Romany Gypsies, she left everything behind: her name, a way of life constrained by English rules, the punishments her cruel father meted out in the name of God, and the young man who made it all bearable. Certain things she can’t hide, even in wild, remote Wale: a secret longing for the ease of English life, the wisps of faith that still linger, and her reaction to a handsome face she thought she’d never see again.

Daniel Hayward would recognize that voice anywhere and that unruly, copper-colored hair, as well as those piercing blue eyes. But what is Charity Weston doing wearing Gypsy garb in Wales...when she died years ago?

For a moment, the grief that never quite left him is transformed into joy. But the walls between them now are built from bricks of culture clashes, bitter memories, and fear. To find his way, Daniel will have to trust as never before that God will guide their hearts home at last.

Does he love the girl she was...or the woman she has become?

This poignant Regency Inspirational romance will fill your heart with love and hope.

Such a sweet love story

When Daniel and his sister go to Wales to visit a childhood friend of Daniels after his marriage while passing up a roll many camp Daniel swears he sees his childhood friend charity who he thought to be dead since the age of 14. Convinced it was her the next morning when he wakes he goes into his astonishment it is her. Open till now then you had no want of a wife and didn’t want to be tied down at all, but all that changes when he looked into the blue eyes of charity. He’s falling fast, But will charity leave the people that cared for her for six years to go with the only person who is kind to her as a child?

I absolutely love this story. This isn’t your ordinary Victorian romance. It is different by far end the narrator I thought you did a wonderful job. I love everything about this book. I highly recommend it to those who love romance and sweet and clean romances especially.

I enjoyed this shorter story in the series.

I enjoyed this shorter story in the series that focuses on the same Roma tribe, but different characters including both English and other members of the tribe.
I'm also glad the tribe has a safe place to live when they want to, probably that will be two soon.
