Good Christian Regency
Would you listen to The Heiress of Winterwood again? Why?
It was good to find a Christian Regency that was more than a fluffy, mushy romance and actually had a strong supporting storyline and well drawn characters
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
A little predictable but generally good.
What do you think the narrator could have done better?
The American narrator reading a book set in Britain was a bit of an issue, though she did do her best, I think she found British accents challenging. Also, she seemed to read rather slowly, extending a 350 page book to nearly 11 hours.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Rather too long to listen to in one sitting.

very religious
I have never read/listened to regency romance with such strong religious theme. not my cup of tea but it doesn't distract too much from the romance.
Other reviews complained about the narration. It is not that terrible. The main issue I would imagine is the fact that the narrator is American and because the setting in England, we expect British accent.
I did think however that the book stopped quite abruptly. A lot was unresolved. we didn't even get to the wedding. we don't know if he is going to the sea and leave them behind, or what happens to Edward in the end. What about poor Helena? A lot is left hanging so that is why I have 3 stars, particularly as there was a lot of dragging throughout the book.
