A captivating, beautifully written take on the Greek myth!
I was hooked pretty early on and simply couldn’t stop listening to this beautiful yet tragic tale of love and war. The book is wonderfully told in a way that often feels like poetry with description that makes you feel as if you’re in India yourself. The characters are well written and you find yourself rooting for certain characters only to have that change as the book goes on and you realise the world isn’t so black and white but filled with moral gear area. It’s a complex gritty world but beautiful too. Full of twists and turns I highly recommend this epic debut from writer Rani Selavarajah!!!
