Summary

As a combat hardened Navy SEAL, Thom Grande has fought terrorism around the globe, but he can't fight is his ex-wife. Or her lawyer. Or the alimony payments. Just when he thinks his life can't get any worse, bad luck smacks him up side the head - literally. Now he's got a traumatic brain injury and can't remember his own name. The good news? He can't remember his ex-wife or the woes she's causing him either. Virginia Starr has the worst luck ever with men. But maybe her luck is changing because one hell of a hot man just showed up at her door in the middle of the night. One problem - he can't remember anything, including who he is. The more Ginny sees, the more she realizes, that might not matter all that much. Don't miss the rest of the Hot SEALs series!

Stand alone story

While this is the third book in the Hot SEALs series, it can be read/listened to as a stand alone story. The setting and most of the characters are different from the first two books. I would recommend this series to listeners who like the story to focus on how two characters get together instead of relationship drama.

Craig Jessen does a great job with the narration.

Short story but not missing the chemistry

I enjoyed this story and look forward to reading the rest of the series! Its not a full length story, but I didn't feel like the characters and plot were missing anything. 1 sex scene with fairly mild language.

Craig Jessen is a new narrator for me. After I got used to his softer tone, I loved his voice.

Entertaining with great narration

I really enjoyed this story. Entertaining with great narration. A head injury, amnesia, a crippling blizzard, a super hot connection followed by a bit of miscommunication and I was completely absorbed. It ended too soon and I only wish there was just a bit more.

Thom & Ginny

Ginny needs a change in her life. Thom is trying to overcome a head injury. Trying to get home for the holidays they both run into some problems and end up together. He has to get back to work before she even knows what happened. If I had to say something negative it would be, I wish they were together longer in this book. Great narration, I definitely recommend this book/series.

3.5 stars

to short for my taste i would have loved another couple chapters for the couple to get closer and more established it felt a little to rushed for me but i did love both characters in this relationship they fit together nicely.

short and slow

story is 3 hours long (1.5 to me as I listen at 2x speed) and the couple doesn't meet until halfway into the book. This one should have been called Night with a seal as that's all it was. There is no chemistry as I can't even remember them having a conversation where Thom was lucid. There is absolutely no reason to think this couple will last longer than 3 months max.

If the entire book was just about getting trapped in the snowstorm it would have been good novella- time to develop a relationship between them. First chapter should have been Thom driving home for Christmas in the storm and end with the crash and amnesia. Instead, its a mismatch of some military plot where nothing happened and a one-night stand and none of it worked
