Summary
Some rules were meant to be broken....
Soren
I’ve never met someone so determined to mess up her life. Vi Malone is one step away from disaster, and I can’t stop trying to save her. But maybe she can help save me. A couple of weeks posing as my girlfriend would go a long way toward fixing my battered reputation. As long as I don’t break my oldest rule—never get emotionally involved.
Vi
I’ve never met someone so determined to piss me off. Soren Brehm thinks he’s my personal hero because he has something I need, but he can’t solve all my problems with a wicked smile and a spacious second bedroom. Not until I get past his football star façade and realize he sees me, really sees me. I don’t need saving—but maybe I need him.
Rule Breaker is the first full-length novel in the Wild Card series of steamy interconnected stand-alones featuring the football players of Teagan University—a fake dating, forced proximity, college football romance with plenty of heat.

Cute & fast-paced!
This book was so stinking cute! This fake relationship, sports romance with angst, a hero that actually communicates and calls the heroine a “good girl” was *chef’s kiss*.
This was my first book by Nikki Hall and I really enjoyed it. It was fast-paced, the characters had explosive chemistry, and I was left wanting more. This was the perfect light read!
Vivienne Ferrari and Duncan Cole were fantastic and they fit the characters perfectly!

A great start to a series.
This is the first book in the Wild Card series. Each book follows a different character and are interconnected standalones.
I really like this series, set in college and following a group of friends who play American football.
Soren and Vi are complete opposites but due to an altercation at a party which triggers a series of events, they end up fake dating. Soren needs to date to keep his parents off his back.
The forced close proximity means that fake dating becomes more as they find it too difficult to ignore their chemistry.
Vi finds it difficult to let people in even though Soren starts to breakdown her walls.
It’s a good listen and I recommend it.

Hockey romance goodness
I loved this book. Soren and Vi were so good together. I really liked the fact that they did drag iut the fake dating aspect of their relationship, and as soon as they realised they both wanted to be together for real they went for it, and it was HOT .
I adored Vi's character she was so independent but also knew when to back down and accept Sorens help, and Soren, well, that man is just a cinnamon roll wrapped up in a football players body!!
the narrators did an amazing job at bringing the characters to life.
I can't wait to read all about the rest of the gang we met in this book.

Soren and Vi!
When Vi decides to stand up for someone at a party she draws the attention of an irate football player so her friend recruits Soren to help her leave before it escalates. In the aftermath of that event, she not only finds herself evicted from her dorm, but she is laid off from the fitness classes she teaches. With minimal options she agrees to become Soren’s pretend girlfriend and roommate.
Soren is a football player who was attracted to Vi’s feisty personality from their first meeting. When she needs a place to stay and protection, he suggests that she pretend to be his girlfriend as it will help him with his parents. It is only a matter of time between the chemistry between them escalates and roommates and friends are no longer enough.
Both Soren and Vi are so supportive of each other as they face the challenges from outside forces and fight for what will make them happy which is each other. I enjoyed the performance of the narrators as they had you feeling not only the romance but the emotions that the characters were feeling as well.
