Summary

One great series in a single offering!

Base Building, Babes, and Battles!

Join the Legendary Lord as he is reborn again, this time to fight an evil God that's threatening the existence of his very land. But first he has to build his stronghold, battle monsters and get to know the beautiful Elven queen Leyathel, among others if get to know means what you think it means…

However, there's a slight problem. He has no idea who he is, why he was reborn, or what he’s supposed to do. Mere trifling details that won’t stop a Legendary Lord even if it takes him a little bit to get settled into his new environment!

This is a 4x LitRPG Harem book with: Levels, War, and a Quest for Domination!

Opportunities missed

Decent enough story, although could've been fleshed out somewhat, and lacks both pace and depth - especially early on. Sadly MM's one-dimensional narration could not be rescued by CH's performance.

Great story

Written with the story in focus, sure there are adult scenes, but they are poetically written and keeps the listener more interested in the story.

The numbers Mason, what do they mean?

I honestly can't recommend this series to anybody. There isn't a singular thing that stood out as terrible, Everything is incredibly mediocre and bland and I only got to about the half way mark before I couldn't take it anymore.
There is no world building, the MC has magical "amnesia" so he doesn't know anything about anything unless it becomes necessary to the plot ("Lore" is unlocked when the plot requires it), and the stat points are completely irrelevant, only referred to as his "numbers". His numbers not being high enough or his numbers increased are all you get. Both the numbers and lore could have been left out, and the story wouldn't have changed, they are that irrelevant.
MC starts out in the ruins of a castle in the middle of nowhere. He claims it, and NPCs are getting plopped in by magic. There is no character development, nobody grows or learns and the important people, aside from the elven queen, are unlikeable.
Add to that the mixing of normal language with pompous pseudo "ye olde" language and there is absolutely nothing positive to say aside from "an attempt was made" and the narrators performance is of high quality.
