About this listen

To keep the people she loves safe, Sara left everything she knew behind. She soon learns this new world is nothing like her old one, and she struggles to make a place for herself among the Mohiri. But it soon becomes apparent to Sara and to everyone one around her that she is not your typical warrior. As the weeks pass, Sara builds new relationships, copes with her new trainers, and tries to manage her ever-changing powers while keeping her unique heritage a secret. Looming in the background is the constant shadow of the Master, who will do anything to find her.

Sara finds herself on a journey of self-discovery that uncovers her true strengths and awakens a part of her she never knew existed. She experiences the delight of new friendships, the sweetness and pain of first love, and a loss so deep it could be the thing that finally breaks her. At the end of it all, she discovers that the one place she was supposed to be safe might not be the refuge she thought it was.

Good

Story is great, the narrator is pretty good apart from the atrocious attempts at accents.

Loved it

The second instalment of the Relentless series was amazing. The continuing story had me gripped me from page one. There are new characters, especially Jordan, who I adored. Nickolas was as dreamy as ever and the relationship between him and Sara was fabulous. I spent the last two hours on the edge of my seat. This is fast becoming one of my favourite all time series. The narrator grated on me terribly in the first book but I found myself loving her in this one. She no longer rushed through sentences and I didn't hear her swallow once. I honestly can't recommend this book, and series, highly enough.

Great series so far….

I have really enjoyed this book with all its action and drama. I was getting very annoyed at Sarah and Nickolas not admitting they were mates and then trying not to be, it seemed a bit drawn out but the story overall is very good and I am looking forward to book 3.

Finished it in one day

I finished this book in one day. Couldnt put it down. The narration is good, the accents can be distracting but I'm not sure there are many who could have done better. The story is well written, a few predictable parts you see coming a mile off but a good read regardless. In this book I finally started to like the main character. In the first book shes immature and a little annoying but she does become more likable in this one... until the last 30 minutes. The last minute character shift is making me cautious about buying the next one but I think ill give it a try anyway in the hope for more character growth.
All in all worth a read and story wise I feel this book is better than the first. I hope it continues in book 3.
