Summary

Excellent Collection of Five Different Plays
I am glad there is only one Inspector Frost in this collection as R.D. Wingfield is much more than just Frost. I like all of the plays as they are all different showing the variety of Wingfield’s skill at writing plays. All are very well acted and produced, just wish there were more plays as they are all enjoyable. Would more like this.

Varied and excellent and definitely not cosy
Only one of these stories is a Frost tale, but the rest are probably even better. Well paced, varied and excellently performed. Really great listening and delving into unexpected arenas.

Absolutely brilliant
Wingfield, the creator of Inspector Frost was always more at home writing plays for radio than novels and even if he did produce some quite excellent novels it was his talent for radio plays that is totally outstanding. These plays, all made by the BBC, are wonderful and the only complaint I have here is that there are not more plays on this recording. Always leave them wanting more....please Audible another volume of Wingfield's radio plays. My personal fave here is Daylight Robbery but all are excellent.

Disappointed
Thought this was a series of Jack Frost stories. Turns out it’s just the first story.

Not All Frost Stories
I was expecting more than one frost story, the rest I’d already bought before, I feel ripped off, no refund available either 😡

Average at best.
Not the best. I love Radio plays, but these are not the best. The Frost one is very poor. Far too abridged and the voice acting is average at best.
The music is utterly appalling and really distracts.
Average at best!
