About this listen

It is no easy thing, to give a person—any one person—the ability to rewrite the truth of power in this world. How could any one being hold in their hands the key to fate and not succumb to the inevitable corruption of such a thing?

Arthur Leywin's quest for the power he knows only as Fate becomes even more pressing as his most dangerous foes gain a terrible new power. When the war between the dragons of Epheotus and the basilisks of Alacrya erupts across Dicathen, the people Arthur cares about most find themselves trapped in a clash of deities. The only way to master Fate and protect them, though, is to place them directly in harm's way in the ultimate gambit.

Enjoyed it, dragged on in places

Good installment anti climactic ending to a long arc unfortunately, would of loved an epic 1v1 and there are some perspective shift that's were completely unnecessary to the story at least from my perspective I found myself skipping large parts of those chapters because It bored me, personal gripe really but I felt it was enough to just drop that one star.

Can we pls go back to only travis as narrator.

After 9 books with one narrator. I can’t get used to Elizabeth as a narrator. It’s to confusing who is who especially when they do the same characters in different voices. Every time when Elizabeth is the narrator I loose focus and get help thinking hope it’s destroying my pleasure listening tintje story.

Hooking.

Elizabeth grew on me and Travis’s performance was spectacular as usual. The story was immense. I can’t wait for volume 12!

Good but.......

It feels great to be back in the world and see the story enter it's endgame, but I do feel the story would be better if it goes back to Travis as its only voice actor.

Elizabeth has her moments with certain characters but in general it feels as if she reads the story whereas Travis speaks as the characters if that makes sense.

Honestly if you re released the last two books with Travis as the sole voice actor I would actually buy them just because some key moments and battles lose something with Elizabeth's style as if there always needs to be a sad undertone to the moments.

I did enjoy the Wraiths having a bigger part to play which also shows how powerful Arthur has become in comparison.

I look forward to the next book and congrats to TurtleMe for getting the series green lit for an anime

Terrible handling of voice actors

Travis and Elizabeth mix like oil and vinegar, it's disappointing to see such good series ruined by the bad choice of a voice actor.

Changes in the narrator gender

I used to enjoy listening to the male narrator. Now the changes to the female one disrupts the flow and makes it hard to focus on, plus it is difficult to feel like listening to the same book when it has two reading styles
