From zero to hero

I can only recommend this book, it's a very cool progression powerfantasy with awesome abilities.
One of the best hero book I've heard yet.
I don't wanna spoil anything, so I'm just saying that this book is more than worth your time. :)

Such an awesome story that catches you

If you like this type of story then you will love this one. It has litrpg, supers, post apocalyptic dystopian world, and harem. After I started listening I just couldn't stop and listened right until the end. The narrators are great and you can just feel yourself wanting to know what happens next. 100% recommended!

A Heroes hot journey begins!

At my request I received a copy of this audiobook in order to give a fair and unbiased review

Genre: LitRPG Super hero adventure with harem elements

LitRPG system: Stat based with powers and power types. Fits perfectly with both the hero theme and the augmented human aspects of the book
Power dynamics in harem: The Main Character is central and in charge, but respects and listens to the members.
Explicit/adult material: Explicit and steamy.

Summary:
Aden has long ago given up his dreams of becoming one of the supers. Dreams like that don't last well in the harsh life of the slums.
But one day a super comes to the slums and witness and saves him from a fight he couldn't win. He is invited to take the test to join Prism Academy. The school for super heroes.

Narrators
Voice diversity: Each character has distinct voices and conversation is always easy to follow.
Pacing and intonation: Excellently done. Very immersive, suddenly the book was over.
Sex scenes: Very well done. As immersive as the rest of the story.
Overall: 4.5 / 5 stars.

The book’s strengths.
- The characters have depth and are interesting.
- I find the politics and power plays of the society interesting.
- The action scenes are plentiful but never gets boring or repetitive.
- The premise for how you gain the majority of your superpowers and its consequences creates some hot situations
- Great narration

The book’s weaknesses.
- The stat explanation can be a bit repetitive. It is only brought up at relevant times, but personally I would prefer only being informed of the chances rather than also have the full overview reiterated

Overall: 4.5/5 stars
A great Supers adventure with a great premise and with an added bonus of hot explicit harem elements.
I was at the edge of my seat all the way through and can't wait for the next book in the series to arrive.

Great concept on the litrpg genre

Had me hooked from the 1st fight scene and couldn't stop listening, I was pleasantly surprised at the humor throughout the story, it's like an orgin audio version of the TV show The boys, without the compound V. Great narration, some sexual nature scenes but if that's not your thing you can still skip without causing you to miss too much of any major plot.

Looking forward to the next 1.

there is very few books I rate and that is so I can keep it to the books that really showed an impact on me and this book hit a lot of the markers for what makes a epic story.
I'd give it a 6 stars for story but sadly I can't

Can't wait!

This was a slow starter for me but wow did it get going. The characters just exploded and became real life folks. The story turned into one that reminds you of today's world.
Now I have to wait for the next book!
The narrators did a fantastic job of bringing the characters to life and turning them into real life folks.

Another great series by David Burke

I'm big fan of David Burkes Four Laws books and wasn't disappointed by the introduction to his new Prism Academy series

Like Four Laws, the MC finds his world turned upside down after meeting a certain individuals and is thrust into a world they thought was but a fantasy.

After growing up in the slums, the MC gambles on his ability to become a super which for males only succeeds 1/1000 with failure leading to death for an individual. Once he awakens to the world of supers, he has to navigate to intricacies which he was not aware of growing up, With the internal politics of how the boards believes he should be utilised, underground organisations looking to exploit him, all whilst the world is on the brink from the threats of the shadow.

Another great performance from Jonathan Waters and Maeve York, the duo who narrated The Wolf King's Lair and Otherworld Academy and are quickly becoming on of my favorite narration pair.
